Mason sat there when his eyes glanced at you. He was confused at first but then his eyes glowed with excitement and pure joy. He opened his arms and you found them covering you in a tight hug. He lifted you up and that was it, your eyes were teary, tears of joy, everlasting joy. You pulled away and saw Mason was in light tears too. "y/n, I can't express my happiness, i-" He spoke in a light voice.
"We'll leave you two alone to talk," Declan said and he and Mason's mom left the room. "how have you been?" you asked gently "My life has been great, just happy to be sitting in front of you" He replied with a calm tone. "How's your girlfriend?" You questioned almost on the verge of breaking down. "She's great, we recently went on a trip to Dubai, Have you got yourself a partner? he replied "i haven't actually, i thought i'd be the first one to get myself a partner, but life takes turns, yeah" you muttered. Mason was after all your best friend, he knew something was bothering and he exactly knew what that something was.
After a few hours of visiting Mason's, you went back to your Hotel, feeling bright and gloomy at the same time. You met Chloe there, and let's just say she wasn't as nice as you expected. She had eyes beseeching you, asking to leave. But now you were busy for a week, due to London fashion Week
"Mason, why were you with her" Chloe asked him. "what do you mean? he responded "oh, don't play dumb" She snapped back "Chloe, she is my best friend we've been friends since forever," He said "oh yeah, well you might have fucked her too, who knows?" She said mockingly. After a bitter quarrel, "yeah you know what Mason Mount, i am so done with you, now you can easily fuck that bitch" She snarled. She left the room, leaving behind a heartbroken Mason.
After a cruel week for Mason, You decided to meet him one more time before leaving For New York. "Hey, Mason? You alright" You questioned "to be honest, I am not Chloe just broke up with me" He responded, eyes glued at the tv and not looking at you.
