It's kinda odd how I get tunnel vision (psychologically), I don't see anything other than my focus point, even if what I should be seeing is right in front of me

Like how I don't notice people's clothes or physical features except their faces, bc I can only see their faces

Or how I can't see my surroundings at all 😭

The world could be burning down around me, and I would still not perceive it if I'm focused on something else 😭

Accepting to love and be loved by someone that I can't save and that I don't want to save — oh that is the real character development

I don't need to fix him, I don't need to heal him, he's perfect as he is, in all of his imperfections

He's not the one who's going to save me either, nor the one who's going to fill an empty spot in my life, or fulfill a desire of mine. He's just going to be a pleasant addition to my life, as I'm already satisfied with myself and with my life the way it is

Also, as a consequence of me maturing as a person, I realized that my selfships don't feel so cool anymore. Actually, they all feel very much toxic (as a reflection of how toxic I was before — especially due to my risk of falling for codependency). My selfships were also doomed because I was way too immature to know the difference between love and passion — so all of my selfships were pretty much guided by passion, and when the passion faded, I was left feeling bad and guilty bc "they're my F/O but I'm not interested in them anymore" 🧍

Anyway, I'm reformulating all of my selfships 👍 I change as a person, and therefore my relationships change as well
