nekkotoy is a nekkomusea NPC who can be found in playa city of the board world in chapter 3. it a bit conceited, boastin' 'bout 'ving much more advanced mechanics than other dreamers in the game. it also seems to be quite self-absorbed 'nd speaks its mind. its speech pattern is rather rigal 'nd archaic, usin' apostrophes in most of its dialogue, though it 'metimes omits them, with words like 'me' instead of 'some', 'cause em' instead of 'because', 'in' instead of 'ing', 'yawnk' instead of 'work', 'm'mobile instead of 'cellphone', 'lappy' instead of 'laptop', 'v'games' instead of 'videogames', 'nd others. it also tends to add an 'n' to the end of certain words. In the japanese localization, nekkotoy uses a mix of archaic-style katakana 'nd hiragana, along with a 'mewhat antiquated dialect. it can be found in playa city, in the sound configuration structure. once there, it will claim to be one of the best guides for the board world boards, and it gets a little angry if questioned. it will also tell the party not to use any mechanics guides. however, nekkotoy will give out a guide that is quite bad, 'nd accordin' to the board, this guide will only make ya lose more points if ya use it. In the room of the fame, it can be seen outside of playa city. If you choose to accept its guide, it will be surprised that its guide works, but if ya choose that its guide is bad, it will get very angry 'nd turn off the screen similar to a television. however, nothin' will happen 'cause the party returns to the same place where it was. 'fter completin' board world, it will be recruited in funky town in chapter 4. while in the training dummy, nekkotoy will say that the place lacks class 'nd should be improved. in chapter 5, it will be workin' on plans to cause 'methin' big, which he will say will be the biggest and most amazin' plan of its life. in chapter 6, in funky town, it will cause a huge mess in the chat restaurant, scarin' away most of the customers, so they decide to stay in the second church in funky town. in the frozen route, 'cause it is an NPC originally from playa city, it will not appear in the scarf prophecy minigame 'r anywhere else, 'nd therefore will not be recruitable in this route. nekkotoy is a nekkomusea with a more anthropomorphic 'nd less humanoid form. it has gray fur with dark hips 'nd legs hidden under its blanket, a dark jester's collar, thin arms, a short tail 'hind its head, pink and yellow glasses, 'nd an indifferent expression. its dojo fighterZ card reads as follows: type of bein': dreamer. categories: nekkomusea, dream cat, doll, egotistical bein', fake guide, strange accent. description: "an unconventional-lookin' nekkomusea, but one who still seems to manage on its own.
