Soggy its been awhile since I've posted! I've been busy, and am busy rn, but I dhall enlighten the world on what I have been doing:

I have started another conlang for shits and giggles that is highly agglutinative, uses SOV word order, and uses both austronesian alignment and nominative-accusitve and other things.

Also! I have finished the clauses for my other language and am working on other things as we speak! They include:

The indicative (basic, independent clause with no special usage; it denotes inferential and gnomic definitions ie. "Dan vgadaz" "The cat is going")

The inferential (independent clause that uses the inferential mood; it conveys information that is unknown to a degree to the speaker and is used to ask questions without an interrogative ie. "Ldan vgadaz?" "Is the cat going?")

The assertive (an independent clause that conveys information that is true to the speaker but not necessarily to anyone else ie. *Dan vgadaz řu" "The cat is going" (opinion))

The context (clauses with a "copular definition.," They usually come with the definition of "to be" denoted by the essive case and lack of a verb ie. "Nysona ecu" "I am Nysona")

The equative (A clause that uses a noun with a postposition without adding other context ie. "Gjezuvui ocdi" "(It is) in the bowl")

The conjunct (A clause that is connected to an independent cclause using a conjunction or standing on its own for emphasis ie. "Kat unlöta, djo kat gojesüra ec qa" "The city is cold, but this street is not cold")

The content (A dependent clause formed from the three primary independent claused that adds onto the content of the clause it attatches to ie. "Kan ec og ngul vgadazmü" "I go to quarrel with the cat")

The relative (A dependent clause that elaborates on nouns and verbs ie. "Nimece oce řun sik tela ladujos esürunü" "The woman who gives (away) dogs walks to the train (there)"

I finished the clauses for my conlang but I'm going to go read a few papers on clauses in other languages to see if there is anything I want to add/change bc I like pretending to take other languages into consideration when clonging

Drafted a quick concept for a script for the conlang (its a left-right abugida)

I figure that an abugida is the only type of script (other than an alphabet) that would work because of the pretty simple max syllable structure (CCVC) in combination with its pretty complex vowel system. Don't ask me what this means I don't remember.

I am currently working on clauses so more on that soon!! :›

Heya!! I haven't had time to work on my conlang in a bit, but I thought it would be kewl to let y'all know that I am teaching my friend how to conlang. We spent three hours coming up with this list of sounds just now :p

Hai! Its been a bit since I posted progress because I've mostly just been refining stuff in my conlanging document recently!! So not much progress has been made ;w;

In the meantime, I realised that I have never actually evolved an entire sentence from the first to sixth stage of linguistic evolution (I've split the evolution of the language I'm working on into six stages detailing evolution from the proto language -> actual language). So, here ya go

(1) Akufòijsao dijùg hal gajaizór qat

(2) Kufòijsa duijùg ha guijaizór qat

(3) Kuföjsa düjug a gjezor qah

(4) Kuföjvui gjezor qu djug

(5) Kufonü gjezoq dju

(6) Dulonü gjezoq du

(The sixth stage is the current form of the language, first is proto)

(The sentence means "You are not a bowl at night" (so true and relatable))

Constructed the first sentence with more than one clause. Yes, I bullshitted the clauses used here because I have not worked on syntac yet. Yes, I don't have enough words in my lexicon to make something that makes sense. :p
