The feeling of Marley's body against her own soothed her so much deeper than anything else, the feeling so new but so wanted and so needed instantly for the way she felt so at peace her, so at home, her skin warm and her mind calm as her arms flexed around her more. It didn't keep her mind from spinning gently with thought, just little ones in passing, wondering what was going to happen now or in the morning or a few weeks from now, her mind trying to figure it out but it wasn't something that could be figured out. This wasn't a puzzle or a riddle or even a question with a definitive yes or no answer. This was them and they were more than black and white, more than 'just' anything and she relaxed more with her, following the paths Marley's fingers took over her skin and humming just softly while her own hands soothed over her back, rubbing tenderly at muscle and relishing int he feel of being here with her like this, their skin sticking together and their breathing calming slowly but surely, the softest sheen beading over their flesh. It was beautiful and Marley was the most beautiful thing in her world, looking at her now and giving her that truth before she saw Marley's wheels turning more, the softest hint of doubt and worry finding a home in her eyes and God, Nyx didn't want those things in Marley's hue, flexing her hands gently against her now as she heard her question and it wasn't even a question in her mind, wasn't even something to be asked but it was a yes or no question that Nyx immediately nodded in answer to, one that she instantly backed up more with her lips against Marley's kissing her soft and slow, with no rush, no where to be because she was staying right here with her all night, loving on her and making sure she was safe, soothing any of those doubts or worries because Nyx wouldn't allow them to exist in a place where they had always know their truth, where they had always been black and white with the most beautiful shade of gray representing their balance. They were the absolute truth that they knew and they preached all while balancing the things they needed, all while balancing love with honesty and care, the former having to be of the 'tough' variety at times but it was a balance and she wrapped Marley up more, shifting more to lay beside her now while her arms sheltered her and soothed through her curls, over her back, still kissing her slowly and deeply for a long moment before she pulled back just enough to find her eyes, her own hue molten gold and filled with emotion, so much so that it had her tearing up just softly. "Not going anywhere without you." she told her, a truth that they had spoken a million times before but now it had another facet added to the depth of it, the truth of it, and she poured that into Marley's eyes before she kissed her again, soft and slow, tenderly while her nails soothed over her scalp and her free hand reached to tuck her in more, making sure she was warm and shielded by their blanket.
