Back in 2023 I had foot surgery
Coming out of anesthesia I woke up in recovery really disoriented only for the nurse to tell me "Just breathe"
So I went back to sleep 🤣
nah just in case bc I can’t risk at this point of the semester LOL
I ain't taking no chances, my college classes start back up Tuesday 🤣
College is absolutely kicking my ASS right now so hellenic polytheist community I have a question:
How do you "stay connected" with your gods during busy or tumultuous times? I feel so bad that I can't devote as many activities or as much time to the gods as I did over my winter break. I feel like I can't even THINK about them that often with all the stuff that's going on. And tbh I kinda miss them? If that makes sense?
Idk, I'm taking max credits, looking for an apartment, AND internship hunting so life has been a doozy 🥲
As a fellow Hellenic polytheist in college, here are some thing I do to stay in touch while I'm busy AF.
1. I wear devotional jewelry, or even items I associate with the gods I worship. So even when I'm in class I can fidget with the jewelry and have them on my mind when I do.
2. Depending on your classes, before any exam I do a quick prayer and thank them for staying with me and to help me make sure I don't fuck this exam to hell even though I studied for weeks in advanced.
3. I know it gets overwhelming, my college has plants and gardens everywhere, so as I'm walking out of class, I'll usually stop and take a minute to breathe, normally then I'll send a quick prayer as well.
4. As a follower of Aphrodite, when I get ready for the day I keep Her in mind, I may add perfume or some light makeup in Her honor.
I hope these give you some ideas!
Good luck with college!

I did not see any of this and I am devastated 😭 like what am I supposed to read now? My college textbooks?
Y'all
I am ✨ Engaged ✨
And here's a picture of my partners wearing their rings!
Just set up a household altar in my new place, set up all the candles and such, not a lot but something to start with.
Lit the candles and none of the candles flames are flickering
They are just still, solid still flames.
had a conversation with my sister about this fanfic that had nearly headless nick and looked him up to remind myself what he looks like and he’s lowkey…
so I looked up on BOTH ao3 and here (Tumblr) to see if there were fanfics of him and THERES NOT????
about to take matters into my own hands and start writing >:(
For those interested I was reading on Ao3 and this is the link to it. I'm absolutely in love with this work so far. Highly recommend!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
I don't like sending complaints, especially about a delivery driver.
But today I feel it's necessary, because I put in specific instructions to put the package at the back door, it's obvious why. The way our house is laid out, the "front" yard is more the back yard, completely fenced in, and there's a patio we use as the front door that's actually the "back" door.
So tell me why I got confirmation that they would put it by the back door,
And then proceeded fucking throw my package on my dog?
Like, that's no where near my backdoor.
I'm pissed.
(if I need too I'll add a drawing of how my driveway and yard looks, the back door is literally more like a front door than the actual front door. Or just leave it by the fence. )
No tags cause this is a rant.
If anyone ever hears me say "It's on sight"
I mean on sight.
Only two people have the honor of being on my "On Sight" list:
'Dipshit' and 'Sperm Donor'
It will be on sight with no regrets
Our cat Monster saved our entire family, we still talk about him, and how much it hurts to lose him.
I feel the need to say that when I use "hellenism", "hellenic", "hellenic pagan", and "hellenismos" in my tags, it is entirely because of how popularized these terms are and are therefore for reach. I just wanna make sure you guys are getting information and these are the most popular searches for hellenic polytheism. I don't believe in using the terms when referring to the religion outside of that.
Have you ever written out a prayer to use for specific occasions (such as rituals, festivals, asking for something specific, or similar)?
Yes, I've done this many times
Yes, I've done this a few times
Yes, I've done this once
No, I've never done this and usually wing it
No, I've never done this and don't pray
No, I've never done this but use written prayers from others
Some other answer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (comments/tags)
Please reblog, thank you! 🧡
had already sent this to a mutual of mine but i thought this might be helpful for anyone else who may need it
it’s a tarot spread on how to know what deities are trying to reach out with you and why, works like a charm i swear
have a good night everyone!

Masterpost of Resources for Hellenic Polytheism
I made a masterpost in April, and updated it again today… and then I realized it was in desperate need of organization. Instead of separating my resources from everyone else’s, because that honestly doesn’t do anything, this is a more organized version with mine mixed in, too. Let me know if you find any good resources you think I should add to this list!
Khaire, everyone!
