I might never fully understand how the world works, or what lies are behind the truth, or the truth behind those lies that are behind the truth. I break my mind sometimes trying to make any sense of it, day after day, more questions than before. But there’s a few moments in life, in which all of my thoughts are frozen in time…a sense of peace. From the moment I hear, “Oh, say, can you see…”, to the moment in which the last out is recorded, I live without worry. I live in peace.

Dear Syria,

Your photos are waking up the world. That wake up call however is causing mankind to react in different ways. Some pray, some post, some wait for change. Sadly, few are taking immediate action, and even fewer think the only way to ward off evil is to create it.

I’m waiting for the day the world will realize that the strongest weapon we have is love. Not the love of power. Nor the love of money, or the love of reputation. The power of love. We’re so caught up living our lives we don’t have time to give a damn about someone else’s. I can’t possibly understand how some people are able to sleep at night knowing they’ve hurt someone. Someone can’t sleep fearing they won’t wake up the next day. Someone is crying themselves to sleep, yet the people who have caused these individuals to be in these situations are still able to sleep at night.

We had no say in where and when we were born. We had no say in what culture we grew up in. Yet we automatically have stereotypes towards others. We could’ve been born in the middle east. Just because we’re fortunate enough to be raised in a country which has developed itself, doesn’t mean we can take it all for granted. We have to pay back– by accepting the less fortunate into our countries, our cities, and our societies. Not by raiding their countries, thinking it’s what’s best for them. Humanity truly is coming to it’s saddest point. We’ve become used to of seeing tragedies around the world on the media and hearing about it. And that really, truly is sad. #wakeuphumanity #prayfortheworld.
