Agere/Kidcore Journal Ideas

Finally caved and made a happy, colorful, kidcore journal about a month back. It’s really helped with my mental state. Here are some highlights:

1. Document time passing. Log each day something interesting happens. Draw little emojis conveying your state of mind in fun crayon. Nothing is too little to report.

2. Do crayon/pencil testing. Get a new pack of colors? You have a whole journal of paper! Test that out!

3. Packaging from toys or etc that you like? Glue that in there. Stamps. Stickers from fruit. Collect it. I have a whole page that’s just stamps, banana stickers, and tea tags.

4. Did a friend send you a meme you liked? Print it out and glue it in so you can always have it.

5. Speaking of printing, if you have a printer at your disposal, print tiny pictures of things that remind you of happy parts of your childhood. A screenshot of a childhood edutainment computer game. The cover of an old storybook. The “And Viewers Like You. Thank You” screen. Those wooden shapes everyone played with in kindergarten. Fill a whole page with images of happy memories.

6. You going on an adventure of some sort in the future? Draw a whole page of the things you plan to bring with you. Maybe a portable game console? A plushie? What backpack will you be using? More importantly, do you have any ideas of memories or items you want to bring back?

7. Do you see birds in your neighborhood when you go out? Find out their names. Draw them. Where else can they be found? What do they eat? What color are their eggs? What do their songs sound like?

Things to do in your Journal!

Hewwo! Heres a small list of things to do in your Agere journal!

1. This is a bit overused, but if you just started your journal, an about me page is a great idea! 

2. Make a page dedicated to your favorite show! Draw your favorite characters, and tell us a little about them! 

3. Tell us about your favorite animal! Search up some cool facts and write them down! Draw a picture of your favorite animal!

4. Make a page with your favorite color! Draw things that are that color, find stickers, pictures, or things you can cut out that’s your favorite color!

5. Make an ultimate blanket fort plan! What would you put in it? What would it look like? Don’t be scared to be creative!

6. Make a page about your caregiver, or a friend if you don’t have a cg!

7. Make a page about all of your stuffies! What are their names? Draw them! What’s their personality?

8. Write about your favorite video game! Draw your favorite character! What quest do they go on? Are they strong? Do they use magic?

9. Design an animal! What color are they? Are they a mix of different animals? What do they eat? Where do they live?

10. For my pokemon fans, make a page and draw all of your favorite pokemon! Write the pokedex entries too!
