I completed a course on Personal Branding. It was theory-based but had some interesting advice for approaching content creation.
I completed a course on the website-building and hosting platform Framer. While the interface is similar to Figma, Framer has its differences. I'm looking forward to further exploring it and creating a more customized portfolio website.
I created these dual-use business cards in Adobe InDesign. These cards can be duplicated and adjusted as needed by the team at Spitfire, a faux skateboard company I invented for portfolio purposes. Once printed, a small diameter hole-punch turns these business cards into name tags that can be worn on lanyards and handed out at a moment's notice. Featured on the flipside is a QR code that links to the Spitfire Discord community.
I created these social media posts for Spitfire, a faux skateboard company I invented for portfolio purposes. I built each skateboard deck design in Adobe Illustrator and mocked them up in Adobe Photoshop for this project. Then I put the pieces together in Adobe InDesign. Clean and simple, these posts show off products with personality.
I created this style cheatsheet for Spitfire, a faux skateboard company I invented for portfolio purposes, in Adobe Illustrator. It's an 11x17 poster with essential design information for quick reference.
I completed a course in website creation using Wix. While the course wasn’t led by a designer, it provided guidance in the essentials of building a functional website, along with an introduction to key SEO principles.
I recently completed a course in Event Planning. I appreciated the focus on the documentation aspects, which introduced me to some new perspectives. I also enjoyed the ideas shared on how to make conferences and trade shows more engaging and memorable. Having had the opportunity to work with trade shows in the past, I’m excited to continue building on that experience and be involved in more events in the future.
I completed a course in Software Project Management. The concepts around planning, collaboration, risk management, and delivering a final product efficiently are highly transferable across many roles. I’m excited to keep building on this knowledge and applying these principles as I continue searching for the right opportunity.
I completed a course in Project Management. I believe these versatile principles can be applied to any role. I look forward to learning more as I seek the perfect role.
I wanted to create something to give to hiring professionals after interviews, but not just a business card. After some thought, I landed on notepads. I created these in Adobe Illustrator, with Catra & Razzy's help, of course.
I completed a course in Wordpress basics. I can see the strength of the platform and why so many companies use it to build their websites, but I can also see the limitations. I look forward to learning how to integrate code with Wordpress to get those more effective results.
I have created my 2025 digital scrapbook portfolio
Every year, International Pipe Group hosts holiday parties for the employees of their companies. This year, I helped put the event together. It was a simple success.
International Pipe Group celebrates employee longevity across its companies with annual recognition certificates. With the addition of Red Fox Pipe & Fence, new certificates were needed for their team as well. I designed this certificate in Adobe Illustrator and made it editable for managers in Adobe Acrobat.
Every year, the International Pipe Group sales team across all the companies sends out personalized holiday cards to customers. With input from the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Director of Sales, I designed these cards in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Illustrator.
I completed a course in Marketing Analytics. I learned about the importance of curating data ethically and considering your audience when creating a dashboard. I still have room to grow in this area and look forward to learning more!
The International Pipe Group pipe yard in Oklahoma City features an annually contracted billboard space. This year, it was used to promote both the parent company and the new company, Red Fox Pipe & Fence. I designed these simple, bold billboard concepts in Adobe Illustrator. While I couldn’t find a mockup with matching dimensions, the final designs were displayed along Highway 35 in Oklahoma City.
