Created an AU where Obi Wan adopts the twins and takes them to hide out Tatooine with him. He’s a tired dad and the twins are menaces. There’s a lot of sadness and drama to be found but for now let’s enjoy the cute, sweet family stuff. (Feel free to send asks if you want!)

Okay, I can't see Obi Wan being mad about this. Like, at all. Anakin is from a desert planet, there is NO standing water so that pond is straight up magical territory so far as the kid is concerned. And flowers? that float and are pretty colours that stand out and are in WATER?! This is amazing!

He's going to be understanding of just how mind-blowing this is for wee Anakin, nine years old and in a totally alien environment. Food is different! The air smells weird! You have water everywhere, how? and aaaah! and gosh, my mom would love this....

Obi Wan is amused, and has to explain the etiquette of admiring ponds and flowers to someone who has never had the chance to interact with something like this, ever. He's not mad, he doesn't even lecture that much. There may be a homework assignment on what grows in ponds and fountains and such, but it's done from a place of love and concern.

Listen I love the jedi order but the way they saw little baby anakin, former slave and said yeah it's okay if he calls us master. Like dudes just walked all over his trauma. Also the way Anakin in one of the jedi quest books says how he feels like being a jedi for him is so similar to being a slave. It makes me so mad for some reason like they talk ab helping people and then boom yeah this former slave can call us master.
