s-POI-lerish wonderings

Why did they show the note Dominic made Elias write?  It wasn’t just to show us he can spell veni, vidi, vici.  Did he somehow sent a message to his men?  Like, he wrote all in caps.  Is that code?  Because you know he’s 10 steps ahead of Dominic.  Which makes me wonder if Dominic really caught him, or if Elias meant to be caught.  Maybe he’d risk getting killed, just to pay Dominic back for killing Anthony.  With Elias you just never know.  And Dominic is just no match for him.  But sadly, I still think Elias will die.

Harper pretends to be a mole - yet Dominic didn’t know about the safehouse.  Shaw is supposedly on Samaritan’s team now - yet Greer doesn’t know about the subway.  Is Shaw pretending?  Keeping some chunks of info to herself to try to protect her real team as much as she can?

Is TM really sacrificing herself?  Or has she managed to transfer her heart and soul into some briefcase-sized CPU in some place that she’ll let Team Machine know about?  Is she saving Finch only because she knows he could rebuild her if Samaritan destroyed her?  I still have trouble believing an AI can have genuine feelings for a person, although TM certainly makes it easy to believe.

And WHO saved Reese???? Did they say and I missed it????

TV GOT vs Books GOT ...

****spoilerish if you haven’t seen the lastest episode***

So on TV, Littlefinger decides Sansa will marry Ramsay Bolton.  But to the Crown, Sansa is on the run, an accomplice in Joff’s murder, not to mention still married to Tyrion.  If she openly marries Ramsay, aren’t the North, the Boltons and Littlefinger basically thumbing their noses at the Crown?

Whereas in the books, the Crown supports the Bolton claim to the North by having Ramsay marry “Arya”, with their blessings, while still pursuing Sansa, who remains hidden from the world and is helping Littlefinger lay claim to the Eyre.

So the whole political situation changes between TV and books?  I can see the smaller changes working, but this is a major change, no?

Also, does anyone if the prostitute Tyrion was talking to is the same actress who played Marnie in Misfits?  If so, yet another misfit in Westeros....

s-POI-lerish possible scenarios

Purely my own quick first thoughts upon seeing some of the promos...

-      TM has been found by Samaritan so She calls Root to come save Her, using Shaw’s voice.  It’s a voice familiar to them both, maybe it makes Root trust Her more or want to help Her more.

-      Root runs to where TM had Herself rebuilt.  TM is able to fit her heart and soul into a CPU small enough to fit into the Fabergé briefcase, which She instructs Root to bring.

-      With TM safely in the briefcase, chased by Samaritan minons, Root heads to the roof. Root jumps off the roof, parasailing to safety while the minions look in horror, thinking Samaritan is not going to be very Samaritanish towards them in their failure.  Several if not all will be killed by Samaritan.  Root will get to kill Martine before jumping off the roof.

-      Dominic captures Reese with the help of Iris, whom Reese has known is working with Dominic all along, and Reese lets himself be captured because it’s the only way to help Elias, who’s been captured too.  Sadly, I don’t think Elias is going to make it out alive.  I think he’ll get in the way of a bullet meant for Reese.  Just don’t see how much further his story can go. Dominic will get killed, either by Fusco or Reese, and won’t be missed much by anyone.

-      With TM safe and sound, She and Team Machine infiltrate Samaritanand take it down finally. Caleb and his Company will help with this.  Claire may help - if she doesn’t, wonder if she’ll die - since she’s a kid, they probably won’t want her to so she may get a second chance.   If Root didn’t kill Martine before, she gets to do it now.  Greer gets killed by Samaritan for having failed to protect it.  Control, no longer under Samaritan’s and Greer’s control, gets to work with TM again, once TM has been returned.  Control, Grice, Root and TM work to find where Greer had Shaw transported to before all this happened.  And one day they find her.
