Hi hi hello! I wanted to show you a thing I made.

They’re Social Justice Class pins! I got them in the mail yesterday! I’m pretty excited about how they turned out.

Here’s the deal: these will debut at GeekGirlCon in Seattle, on October 11th & 12th. They will be on sale for $2 each, or $10 for the set, all proceeds go to Planned Parenthood. :D I’ve also gotten a number of requests to make them available online. That’s too be determined! I promise I am looking into it.

I really just made these for fun, though. They’re supposed to be a playful poke at the idea of a Social Justice Warrior. Because why be a Social Justice Warrior, when you can be a Social Justice Rogue? Or a Social Justice WIZARD?!

people need to stop complaining about the casting of the cursed child

I recall going on Instagram a couple of days ago to find photos of the cast, and to my suprise i found people complaining about not only rose and hermione’s skin tone, but how ron and harry look, too. Along with other complaints of how they don’t look like the ‘real trio’.

Can we just put their appearances aside for one second and realise that the actors auditioned, and the directors/casters of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child thought they were good enough to get those lead roles? like holy mother of god that is awesome. 

so stop complaining for one second and appreciate the fact that these actors are going to do a great job.

judge them on their performance not on their damn appearance.
