Intro Post
Heyo, I am @acecipher-l-yourcosmicaxolotl [just call me Ace] and I've made this blog for more art fun! I saw a thing of art events but they weren't on Tumblr, so I'll be hosting my own here!
Main Events ~
New Years
December 26th - January 1st
- You can draw your own OCs, [or favorite characters] celebrating the new year, or, you can put your name in the hat and get a random person to draw the OCs of and have them celebrate instead!
Valentines Day
February 8th - February 14th
- You can draw your OCs, [or favorite ships] celebrating valentines, or, you can put your name in the hat and get a random person to draw the OCs of and have them celebrate instead! [or be alone doing this own thing while everyone else celebrates, lol]
Easter Egg Hunt
[year dependent]
- Draw your OCs somewhere Easter-y, like a decorated house or a bunny filled field with hidden Easter eggs in the background. at the end, post your Easter egg basket filled with the eggs you found in other people's art!
April Fools
All of April
- Put your name in the hat and draw your OCs pranking theirs [you can have one OC prank one OC or have 2 prank 5, who cares!] - after that, you can prank whoever else participating you want to get some revenge or just bring them into the fight! and feel free to have your OCs tag up with someone else's and have a prank war with your friends! just remember to ask first if you wanna team up.
Halloween Fun
October 25th - October 31st
- You can draw your OCs trick-or-treating at the house of some other person's OCs house or draw your or someone else's OCs in Halloween costumes or having a Halloween party! remember to put your name in the hat to get assigned and assigned to someone!
Camp Fire Stories
October 25th - October 31st
- Instead of only drawing someone's OC, you can write a creepy pasta about their OCs
Secret Stanta
December 19th - December 25th
- Put your name in the hat and draw your targets OCs. don't post them until Christmas! and then remember to @ the target so they can see!
Check Points ~
- Do every main event at least once
- Get assigned the same person 10 times
- Participate in 1 Prank War
- Collect 100 Easter Eggs
- Draw 5 other peoples OCs
- Do 100 events

Feel free to request Holidays to be added!
[note, I am going for more global or well known Holidays in most cases, so I won't be adding things like Independence Day or Australia Day, but I'll add cultural things like Lunar New Year, as those celebrations are very different]
How to Join
if you would like to join, reblog the announcement post of the event with your OCs that you would like drawn.
to post your work, make sure to tag "#OC art events" and @ the person or people it is for/owners of the OCs in the piece.
make sure to set boundaries in your reblog to avoid receiving anything that will make you comfortable.
Rules
please keep it appropriate and SFW.
if someone knowingly breaks your boundaries, report them, 3 strikes and you're out.
do not use AI or stolen work.
do not trace.
