My OCs ; Prince Trasl The Fourth of The Third

Trasl The Fourth is the prince of the third dimension of Hell. There are 11 dimensions in total, 7 being Hell, then above the 1 human realm there are a further 3 dimensions of Heaven. (I wrote a pretty long post explaining all the layers of Heaven and Hell in Trasl’s universe here). Trasl is the only OC I have who’s more of a purely writing character rather than one I RP, so he doesn’t have a backstory. His ultimate goal is to kill his father and take his throne, and from there work his way up the Dimensions until he rules all 7.

Trasl’s obviously homicidal, and extremely stuck up and pretentious. He’s smart and sly, but his plans to kill his father always fail. Which is meant to be comical but.. I’m not good at writing comedy. It’s also meant to be comical that as far as beasts of Hell go he’s pretty handsome and has a large female fan base, who he hates almost as much as his father. But no matter how much of a dick he is to everyone they just seem to become more infatuated with him. Trasl looks almost human, but with a pale violet-blue complexion and black ram-like horns. His eyes are bright amber, and he has blonde hair. Compared to most of the rest of the population of the Dimensions he’s pretty colourful in appearance, apart from the black and dark purple spiked armor, or black suits he always wears. He’s a highly educated demon, and is a talented piano player. His personal maid always jokes with him that he must have been an angelic being before he was cast down to Hell, because of his obsession with getting to Heaven and ruling it as well; a joke he finds highly unamusing.

I love your OC's (especially Shadow and Moon)! They're so interesting! I'm curious, you mentioned Shadow is a werewolf, what kind of lifespan do he and Moon have? 60 years is a long time and I was wondering how if Moon is like a mother or sister, how old they each might physically be?

Ohmygosh yes I love getting questions about my babs! :D Physically Moon looks about mid-twenties and Shadow looks to be in his mid-thirties. In actuality Moon is about 125 and Shadow is 112. They were my first ever OCs, I’ve had Moon since I was like 11 and Shadow came a little after that. :) I’m glad you like them, that’s so cool!

Hello! I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your blog, especially the idea of making OC's aesthetics. I love Moon and Shadow, and I'm curious about his wife (you said he was married). Can you tell something more about their relationship?

Yes! :D Shadow’s been married for years now, to a lady called Sharon. She’s part witch and part demon, and just about as angry and bad tempered as Shadow is. She’s not my OC though, she’s my RP partner’s OC, which is why I didn’t really write about her. :) They have two kids together - Rose and Sebastian - along with Shadow having his eldest son, Jayce, from a previous relationship. Rose takes more after Sharon, with the witchy side of things, and Seb takes after them both (he changes at the full moon but can also read minds. Also neither of them are my character either, the only kid I RP is Jayce). Jayce’s mother is human, and it seems he didn’t inherit any wolfy traits at all from Shadow.

As far as their relationship goes; when it’s good it’s good, when it’s bad it’s VERY bad. This is mainly because they’re so similar, they clash heads a lot when something is off. Shadow also has quite a simple way of thinking and can get paranoid, which causes a lot of arguments. They love each other though, there’s proof of that in the fact they’re still together after so many years. When they fight it’s because they care, but they’re both a bit stupid when it comes to handling emotions so they usually both burst into shouting and screaming as the only way they know how to let it out. They’ve come close to separating several times, especially when Shadow hit Sharon, and again when he cheated on her (which was, to his defence, a complete accident. Sharon has a twin; need I say more?).

But Shadow would do anything for her. He’s even gone back to The Institute to rescue her when she got captured, despite how terrified he was. He works two jobs to support his family, which are both really crappy because he can’t read, so he’s lucky to have a job. He could easily make money unlawfully, but since his kids came along he’s done his best to do things right. He tries his hardest, even if he fails a lot.

Sharon’s just stayed with him. Shadow can be pretty insufferable at times. But she stuck by him, to me that’s a testament to how much she cares about him. She’s a smart cookie, but the fact that Shadow is actually really dumb has never once bothered her. She just accepts him as he is. Sharon wasn’t the type to ever want to have kids either, but now she has two, mainly because she knew as soon as she told Shadow, he instantly loved them. So she went through with it.

They’re just a couple of angry, twisted babies trying to get by with each other. I love them, their relationship is so disfunctional it’s my favourite~

My OCs ; Nina Locklear

Nina was born in Dakota and lived among a small tribe of Native Americans. When she was very young her parents were killed in an accidental fire that destroyed her home and many of the neighbouring residences. She was saved from the fire by her older brother, who then went back in to try and help his parents and was killed himself. She lived with her grandmother for a while, but she was old and when Nina was a young teenager she also passed away. Her grandmother was highly spiritual, and before she died she was a fortune teller. One day she had a vision of terrible things happening to Nina, She created a protection spell and made a chant to try and change Nina’s future, but instead she mixed the wrong spell ingredients and it gave her the power to control fire. Not being old enough to live by herself, the only remaining family member she could go to was her uncle, who abused her. On the night Nina turned 16 she burnt his face so badly it permanently disfigured him, and then she ran away to live by herself.

Nina got a regular job in the city and tried to fit in as best as she could by hiding her power. When she turned 19 she met the man she fell in love with, and although he was in his 30s they got married. At the time Nina was foolish and naive, so when he got a little rough with her she decided to try and live with it. Gradually it got worse until she was living with a domestically violent relationship, and by the time she was 22 he wouldn’t even allow her to leave the house. Eventually Nina snapped and burned their house down. No one was hurt though, and she quickly filed for a divorce and a restraining order against her ex husband.

With no friends, no job and no life thanks to her ex, Nina decided to use her talent to her advantage and she joined a freak show. She uses her ability to manipulate fire to be a fire eater, setting everything and anything on fire and swallowing it. She also dances with it, and openly manipulates it in front of the crowds, although everyone watching her act thinks its just that, an act. Working with her new friends has made her an entirely new person. She’s confident and witty, and is probably sassy enough to smack you against a wall. She’s also a bit of a flirt and a tease towards the men, and likes to use her natural assets to wile money and presents out of them. She sees men as a bit of a joke that she can play with, and refuses to get close enough to let a man hurt her again. She’s the fierce lesbian of the group.

Nina’s name in Native American actually means ‘fire’. She’s embraced her talent and is pretty much a pyrotechnic. She loves setting things on fire, and blowing things up. One of her favourite pass times is making fireworks and then selling them to make a little money on the side. Her stage name is ‘the magnificent Flaming Indian’. When she’s on stage she wears a bright red corset embroidered with flames made out of sequins, and your typical Pocahontas like skirt. She also has a handmade head piece made of bright feathers. when she’s not on stage she usually still wears a red corset, minus the flames, because she’s obsessed with the colour red. Nina’s a pretty sophisticated lady. You better do things right around her or she’ll tan your hide. High maintenance all the way. It’s like her and the old Nina are two separate people. In the 6 years she’s been with the freakshow she’s gotten a bunch of tattoos and is pretty much covered in them. She’s also dreaded her hair and spends a lot of time fixing little things into it before she goes out so it looks more ornate.

My OCs ; Moon Shay

Please don’t read if you’re sensitive to issues involving torture, child loss, and sexual abuse.

Moon was born in 1906, and is a werewolf. She lived in a barn with her mother for most of her childhood, almost in hiding because her mother practiced wicca. Moon still follows this practice. When she was older she moved to the city, and married a vampire. She soon fell pregnant, and had a daughter called Sapphire. When her daughter had barely turned a year old, her marriage began to crumble. Unknown to Moon, her husband was working for an organisation called The Institute.

The Institute is a prison for all intelligent beings that are not human. A lot of the employees working there are also ‘supernatural’ beings, roped into working for them to avoid being imprisoned themselves. If you are captured by The Institute you will be tortured, as a form of ‘research’ into discovering the weaknesses of supernaturals. Their ultimate goal is to wipe out every intelligent species that is not human. Since marrying Moon, her husband’s goal was to have a half vampire, half werewolf hybrid child with her.

One night men broke into Moon’s home, and she managed to escape with Sapphire. Unfortunately she was captured, and in the struggle her daughter was killed. Moon was taken to The Institute and imprisoned. She was there for two years, and in her time there she was mutilated. She was subjected to chemical abuse, where she was injected with mixtures of many chemicals. This left her with bright bubblegum pink hair, and her body is constantly stuck in state between her humanoid form and wolf form. She has the ears and tail of a wolf, and she no longer changes with the full moon. Along with this she was raped multiple times, and to humiliate her further her entire womb was removed from her body, leaving her riddled with scars and no longer able to have children.

After two years of this a massive fire broke out in the facility. Most of the prisoners were evacuated, but Moon was left behind. Trapped in her cell, there was no way of her escaping. Luckily she was rescued by a fellow prisoner, who had broken free and was trying to escape. They fled the scene, and adopted each other as brother and sister. (I’ll be talking about Shadow’s story in another post.)

Despite everything that she has been through, Moon is a super bubbly woman who tries her utmost to love life. She runs her own ice cream shop called Moo Moo Moon’s, and takes out her motherly instincts on her several cats. She’s one of my shortest OCs. Moon always wears Victorian style dresses, and every Tuesday she has a free ice cream day at her shop for all her homeless friends that she’s come to know and love when she still had an ice cream van. Every day is a gift, as far as she’s concerned, and she’s probably the overly-happy mother figure of the group.

My OCs ; Shadow Shay

Please do not read if you are sensitive to issues involving sexual abuse and torture.

Shadow is Moon’s adopted brother, and is also a werewolf. He was born in The Institute (which you can read about in Moon’s board here). His mother was an inmate and his father worked for The Institute, and was in charge of torturing his mother. He raped her and she fell pregnant, but died giving birth to Shadow. Shadow spent the first 60 years of his life being tortured by his father, and only referred to as ‘Inmate #1′. Through the same type as chemical torture that Moon went through, Shadow became highly allergic to water, and if it touches him he gets burned as if he’s touched acid. He only learned to speak English by listening to his father insult him, which is why his vocabulary is limited and he tends to swear A LOT.

After 60 years of abuse, a fire broke out in The Institute. Shadow was one of the first to start getting evacuated. He was moved from his cell into a mobile cage, but managed to reach through the bars and snap his fathers’ neck. He broke free from his cell, and in the confusion tried to escape. Running the wrong way, he actually made his way further into the facility, and came across Moon who was stuck in her cell. Shadow broke her out and they escaped together.

Because of the long, jet black hair covering his face, Moon decided to call him Shadow, and took him under her wing as her brother. In reality she was more of a mother figure to him; having to teach him everything about the world as he had never set foot outside before. Because of his troubled childhood it wasn’t long before Shadow fell into substance abuse. He was addicted to most Class A drugs, with no hope of getting clean. Moon decided that to try and occupy him she would buy him a guitar, and Shadow’s been in love with playing music ever since. Considering his lack of education, Shadow isn’t very smart, and can’t read or write. Instead he’s good with his hands, and plays guitar, bass, and drums, and also enjoys drawing. He did most of his own tattoos. Despite these new found passions, Shadow still relied heavily on drugs, so to try and help him further Moon decided to send him into the army. He fought in Vietnam for several years, and when he returned he turned a new leaf.

Shadow’s my favourite OC. He’s angry, and mean, and doesn’t think twice about killing anyone that crosses him. Despite that he’s married with 3 kids, and his family is everything to him. His main loves in life are music, his Harley bike, and having sex. Even though he’s clean now, he’s basically an alcoholic and still a smoker.

My OCs ; Kage

Contains issues around self harm and suicide.

Kage is a 21 year old ‘demon’. His parents had him when they were fresh out of highschool, but his father was cheating on his mother with her sister. When Kage was born his father and Aunt fled America and went to Tokyo with him. Kage lived a normal life until the age of 13, never knowing the truth about his family. Because of this he never learned about his real mother being a demon, and never found out he was either until his 13th birthday.

After 13 years his mother had managed to find him again, but finally coming into contact with his real mother released his dormant demon side. Unable to control himself, Kage became a beast, killing his father and Aunt and partially devouring them. His mother fled the scene, and when Kage woke up afterward he was left with amnesia. He awoke in a room full of blood and chewed up body parts, and no idea who he was or what had happened. The only clue he could find was an old photo album inside a safe showing his family in America, so he went there to try and find answers.

With some money he took from the safe he managed to get himself a small apartment, in a very bad neighbourhood. Since going to America he was relentlessly bullied; the torture of this and the guilt he felt towards killing his family and other innocents whenever he changes into a demon pushed him to self harm, and then on to suicide. Kage has tried to kill himself several times through different methods. His arms are still riddled with very obvious scars. Over time he managed to find out the truth about his family, and has even met his mother a couple of times, but he blames her for becoming a monster and refuses to see her. He remained in America, and is now married.

Kage’s demon side is triggered by the sight of blood, or an extreme anger or traumatic event. If he’s around someone that gets a small paper cut or small amount of blood his eyes will turn black and he will try to suck it, almost like a vampire. If he drinks too much he’ll transform. When in his demon form Kage looks like a mass of pulsating black shadows, with a twisted humanoid figure hiding inside. Because he lost his memory he had no idea what his real name actually was, so he called himself ‘Kage’ because of these shadows (’kage’ means ‘shadow’ in Japanese ((I didn’t realise that technically means I have two characters called ‘Shadow’ at the time because I’m actually an idiot so there you go, fun fact))). Kage’s main goal when he’s a demon is to devour human flesh, although often when he changes back to normal he throws most of it back up. The sight and smell of any food makes him feel nauseous, apart from sushi, which is the only thing he’ll ever really eat apart from the occasional dry piece of toast.

Since getting married Kage has stopped self harming, and quit smoking. But he’s still a deeply self loathing person. He’s extremely shy and timid, and keeps to himself. He’s a stutterer, and is very easily embarrassed. Kage loves reading, anything from novels to comic books, and also loves anime and old video games. He’s one of my favourite babies~

My OCs ; Quillan Rupert Black

More commonly known as Quill, he’s one of the very few human OCs I have. Quill is a crime scene photographer, and part time free lance photographer. He was born in Ireland, and lived with his parents and his younger sister, Julia. Since he was born he’s had a strange habit of eating foods that are meant to be hot, cold, and vice versa, with his favourite food being cold baked beans. 

For his tenth birthday his dad gave him a camera, which he took with him everywhere and was always out exploring and taking pictures. The camera was given to him as a way to try and take his mind off the voices he would hear, and although his mother wanted to get him professional help his dad didn’t want anyone to think he was crazy; so Quill didn’t get diagnosed with schizophrenia until he was older. When he was a teenager his father got cancer and died, which put his mother into a deep depression. She decided she couldn’t handle looking after Quill when all he would do is talk to himself, or talk about Master, which is the name of the voice he hears. One night his mother told him she was taking him on holiday, and he fell asleep in the car, but when he woke up she had actually brought him to an asylum for mental patients. She left without giving him a chance to say goodbye to his sister, and he never saw his camera again.

Quill spent the majority of the rest of his life in the asylum, refusing to take medication. The voice, Master, helped him devise multiple escape plans, but all of them failed - until a rookie security guard replaced the old one. One night he snuck out of his room and made a break for it. He managed to escape and went into hiding far from the asylum. He never went to his old home in fear of being caught and taken back. 

Other than Master, Quill has also created a lot of other creatures that he sees, including what he calls Gnomes, which are small green creatures that can change into small trees and bushes when they want. Quill claims they’ll bite at your ankles if you get too close to them. He’s also invented Intergalactic Space Dwarves, which are also small and look more like gnomes than the Gnomes do. In his mind, the Gnomes and Dwarves and locked in a never ending battle, with the Dwarves riding around in miniature space crafts trying to take over Earth, and the Gnomes fighting against them to protect the sanctity of nature. Quill never goes near mirrors, which is why he usually looks like he just rolled out of bed, but when he does he covers them with whatever he can find because he believes the Dwarves use them as portals to move around the planet and murder people in their homes.

Despite all that he’s a rather upbeat person, and he loves to dance and is always making up dances to do in celebration of normal things, like making popcorn (the Popcorn Dance is his all time favourite). He’s very protective once he befriends you, to the point of becoming quite violent if you wrong anyone he knows. He’s a great lover of cats and other pets. He’s also religious, and always wears a silver cross around his neck, along with a camera. Quill always wears checkered shirts, because it’s something his dad used to always wear.

My OCs ; Hestron & Parwine

Hestron is Mestraal’s older brother. His partner is Parwine, and the two of them have known each other all their lives. During the war on Orn, one of Mestraal’s first tasks with the military was to target Kylaat’s with a certain birth defect that meant their wings are smaller and there are two sets joined together, to create a butterfly wing-like shape. Parwine is one of these Kylaat’s, and he’s also the only one still alive.

As soon as Mestraal started targeting him, Parwine’s mother hid him away to keep him safe. He lived this way for years, until he heard word that Mestraal had killed his entire family. Fearing for Hestron, Parwine left in search of him, but Mestraal found him first. Hestron has protected Parwine since then, and they’ve never been separated.

Their relationship fits under the ‘opposites attract’ description. Hestron is very formal, both in the way he speaks and holds himself. He’s a traditionalist, and since coming to Earth he’s given up even trying to understand humans and their ways. He comes across as extremely apathetic and logical in his way of thinking and feeling, and seems almost intimidating at first. In fact he has a deep loyalty complex, and is always willing to help anyone that may need it.

Parwine on the other hand is more of a care free spirit. In the same way that Mestraal has become fascinated with human card tricks and magic, Parwine loves clothing and hand crafted things, and will wear whatever he feels like, ignoring gender roles and ideals. He wears dresses frequently. Upon first glance he could be mistaken for a woman, as he is extremely androgynous in appearance. He can be skittish when it comes to confrontation, and believes in pacifism.

My OCs ; Mestraal

Mestraal is a Kylaat; an alien being from the planet Orn. He and his people appear as angels because of a spell put on them by the Elder of their people. Mestraal was born into a world war on his planet, a fight between the people wanting to leave the planet in search of their true homeland, and the people wanting to stay. Since he was born he was raised to be a warrior, and when Mestraal was old enough he was recruited by the Neutral army - the ones that wanted to stay. He quickly rose to power within the army, and began a twisted mass slaughter of his own people. He killed his entire family, apart from his older brother, Hestron. By the end of the war Mestraal had almost committed genocide, and there are now only a few hundred Kylaat’s left.

The remainder of the Kylaat’s decided to leave Orn, a broken planet that they had mined for materials so much that it was no longer safe to stay there. Mestraal would have been left behind for his war crimes, were it not for Hestron defending him fiercely and pleading his case. On their journey the Kylaat’s came across Earth, and they watched us curiously for a short time. They saw in us a lot of the problems that had caused their own world war, and almost their extinction, and decided to try and help us humans. They arrived on Earth during the middle ages. But their appearance frightened the humans (there’s actually some art I saw floating around on my dash a while ago that looks a lot like how I imagine Kylaat’s, you can find it here, the only difference is that Kylaat’s have four eyes and wings), so their Elder cast a spell to make them appear as something trustworthy; angels.

Mestraal may lose his temper from time to time, but for the people that knew him through the war it’s as if he’s a different person now. Since coming to Earth he has become obsessed with the human concept of ‘magic’, and has taught himself how to do complicated card tricks and various magic tricks. He’s a bit of a lady’s man and goes on a charm offensive pretty often. He holds himself highly in regards to his appearance; among his people he has the whitest feathers of all of them. And hidden in the feathers in his wings he always carries a deck of cards. Apart from the Elder he is the most talented healer among them as well. The element he has power over is fire, which is why his eyes are red. (All Kylaat’s have some degree of healing power, but they also can either summon fire or lightning, which determines whether their eyes are red or yellow. The Elder has the most control over all three, and his eyes are blue). To try and make up for the terrible things he’s done in his past, Mestraal spends a lot of time in war-torn countries, healing the wounded and trying to make a difference. He’s a laid back charmer, but can sometimes come across as arrogant and brimming with self confidence.

No dirt up in here and disgust at any wounds he may get. Also, little bird friend can be replaced with lil' lizard bro Quill would be Mettaton, but insane and more clueless Ebb would be Frisk Mestraal would be Asriel once he realises he's been a little bitch and wants to apologise for it Trasl would be Chara Nina would be Undyne
