So I’ve just kind of never posted all the Detroit AU-related doodles I’ve done. Figure I should... actually do that.
So starting with Fallout!AU designs for Something’s Gotta Give, a Hank/Connor fic based primarily around Fallout: New Vegas. The captions have a little more detail on what all these pictures are.
Featuring designs for Hank, Connor, Nines, Amanda, Gavin, Markus and Simon.
Bonus: Nines establishing dominance by t-posing in very exposing armor.
Portrait practice because while I was attempting more full-body pictures, I was having trouble getting both their faces down AND figuring out their bodies and outfits, and so decided to try some portraits to ease into it. Not fully happy with all of them, but it’s at least a rough start.
The Mighty Nein, in the order that they were introduced. Will possibly colour these later, or possibly just move on to trying to do more full body references like I did for Nott.
Reference sheet for Nott the Brave. I plan to do ones of all the main crew, but started with Nott because I knew I was gonna have trouble with her mouth. From left to right, ‘With Mask,’ ‘Without Mask,’ ‘Without Hood’ and ‘With Mask + Shadows.’
I kind of want to do animatics (even though I know my focus means I won’t manage it) so I’m starting with ref sheets. (Any animatic would likely not have as nice lineart.) I mostly pulled from the official art but tweaked it places. (She’s lacking the gold around her waist because if I did animatics I wanted to have her collect little doodads and just have them accumulate on her person instead, like stringing up the buttons she got.)

These relate to parts of Murderer’s Row I haven’t posted yet (or at least I haven’t edited) but I was in a mood to draw them.
Top image: Pillman and Flowers in their youth. They had a thing. It was complicated and half of it was beating each other up for their opposing crime bosses. But then they had fun outside of that. Maybe they dated a little and bonded over mutual bloodlust. Kindred spirits if nothing else.
Bottom image: Guard Captain Flowers as he is in Volume 3, in his mid-fifties. Admittedly traced the top image face to try and figure out the differences. Besides the age, the major difference is he has a much more elaborate braid now rather than the messy bun he had in his early twenties. A dutch flower braid or the closest I could manage to draw (took inspiration from this piece of fanart.)

Not pictured: Siris taking a knife off Felix because he was trying to make Locus’ sharpie scar more authentic. (Gave the Camp Camp style a go.)

Why did I draw prison!AU Felix he’s not even in the fic yet. What are those tattoos? Most of them are supposed to be snapdragons. But I approximated because what thef uck are snapdragons even
(You can’t see it from this side and he has a prosthetic anyway but prison Felix is missing an ear. Tbh he has a lot of artificial similarities to prison!AU Donut but it definitely ends at physical style.)
Church, as he appears in Murderer’s Row. Specifically, this is another ‘Vol.3′ appearance. (Though the only difference is he’s greyer and getting wrinkles, in Vol.2 his hair is still black.)

He’s the youngest of the inmates, and small and high-pitched for his age to boot. But he’s so happy. Look how happy he looks. Y’know, I’ve never decided what he’s in prison for. It probably wasn’t pleasant.
Hello there, picture I gave up on halfway through but finished because I need to art more.
Pathfinder character. Brigur, a half-orc druid who, like everyone else in the party, was brought back from the dead by an underworld goddess because the goddess needs fodder for the war against the gates of hell and thought everyone in the party hadn’t lived up to their potential in their first life.
Brigur likes nature, and people in a theoretical sense. When they’re talking amongst themselves they’re fine. When they try to include her it gets stressful and annoying. Once she warms up to the others she’ll be the personification of ‘I would follow you to the ends of the earth with only mild complaining.’ She died her first time around because she had a tendency for meddling with war camps to try and get people to stop burning down the fucking forest, and both sides of the war going on assumed she was with the other side and there was a lot of stabbing as retaliation.

Donut as he appears in Murderer’s Row. Specifically, Donut as he will eventually appear in Vol. 3 (although at his current place in Vol. 2 he’s nearly there, though a little less buff.) This is Donut who’s been beaten up, scarred for life, and is basically sick of everyone’s shit. Though, deep down, he’s still the flaky pastry everyone either loves or loathes.
Note, that’s actually the same hairstyle he came in with, just undyed. Most of the scars are from the O’Malley attack in Vol.2 (he got a lot of the arm because he kept trying to block the sharp things with it). The tattoo is from right at the start of Vol.3.

I think this is the first Pokemon stuff I’ve dropped here. Not connected to Sun/Moon but the announcements did put me in the mood.
Just a little Pokeymans OC. Fabienne. Dad’s a farmer in Hoenn, mother’s a cool superstar trainer wandering around Kalos who is basically never at home. Fabienne’s on good terms with her father but kind of resents her mother for various reasons.
Fabienne just wants to pat things and grow berries and eventually become a pokeyman breeder. She ended up with a job as a photographer for a researcher (the little story I’d intended to write was fifteen years before current day Hoenn, so it would have been the pokemon professor before Birch) in an attempt to save up for some land to raise Pokemon on.
Her Sneasel, Scuffle, was kind of a mix-up. She won an Igglybuff in a raffle (she was aiming for second prize, which was a bundle of Pokemon dolls) but the pokeballs got mixed up and she got a Sneasel that was being sent off to someone else. Now there’s a powerful Dark-type trainer out there raising an Igglybuff. Scuffle hated her at first, but now they’re the best of friends.
The rest of her team included a Feebas/Milotic named Flaky, a Zigzacoon/Linoone named Crook, a Banette that tried to murder her once named Juppy, a Tropius named Salad and an undecided sixth.

So, yeah. I tried drawing gay and instead they decided to pull out their phones instead of their dicks. Have some Sharkface/Stassney in some AU or another. Maybe all AUs.
Sharkface, why are you so hard to draw? Oh yeah, it’s because half your face is a permanent grin and that makes expressions hard.(Also I only had a reference for the top of Sharkface’s arm tattoo and I got jumbled so it’s upside down as well as bullshitted.)
So, I wanted to draw more Sharkface/Stassney but I forgot how to draw the two dweebs, so practice time. The Stas was drawn a few weeks back and I just did some sharkfaceface now. (The reason Stas is coloured is because he was looking a little too similar to other facecanons for different characters that I have and the colour helps distinguish.)
I’M GONNA DRAW THE GODDAMN GAY STUFF. I’M WORKING UP TO IT.
