He’s tired; his legs aren’t meant to plant themselves in one spot, repeating the same ( boring ) message to any new arriving trainers ( any new participants ) that want to ride the Multi-Train.
“Due to delays, the Multi-Train is NOT accepting any more participants...” He sounds like a train station announcer. Oh, no wait, he IS a station announcer ( just for the time being, he recalls the Subway Masters telling him. He also remembers telling them that they don’t pay him enough for this and they’d be better of getting a sign. Yet here he is -- they better be grateful ).
“Hooowever,” he drawls, “if you don’t mind waiting, service should be back up and running in about an hour. Any other questions or concerns you have, feel free to ask me”. Some of the gathered trainers look confused, others angry, and a few regulars who’ve dealt with the occasional train delays nod their head in understanding. Either way, questions aren’t asked and the majority of trainers file out of the station. Once they’re gone, he huffs. “Hah, I hope they know it’s first come, first serve once the trains are back up...”
