"Q: May we have a friendly fact to absorb right now?
A: A first step toward self-rescue is to stop demanding that rescue should look like your preconceived ideas of it." -Vernon Howard
Do not waste your life comparing yourself to others. Just see if you are one notch better than you were yesterday. -Sadhguru
I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence. -Frederick Douglass
The feeling that you are in the driver's seat, able to pick and choose among thoughts, is itself a thought that has gone unrecognized.
-Sam Harris
I won't even bother posting another fact-check of last night's speech. If people want to believe claims that have been repeatedly debunked, that's their choice. But anyone willing to look at the evidence can recognize the difference between facts and misleading rhetoric.
Here's what I find telling: if Democrats supposedly had the ability to "steal" a presidential election in 2020, why didn't they do it again in 2024? Why would they lose the White House, the Senate, or other key races if they possessed the kind of massive election-rigging operation that's being alleged? That claim simply doesn't hold up to basic logic.
It also raises another question: Why does election fraud become a major issue only after Republicans lose? When Republicans win, the system is described as secure and legitimate. When they lose, we're told the election was rigged. That pattern alone should make people stop and think before accepting these claims at face value.
Healthy skepticism is important, but it should apply to everyone—not just to election results we don't like. -Tim Custis

If you are an intelligent human being, you will wonder at every step. Only a fool is dead sure about everything.

"It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance."

The most difficult times for many of us are the ones we give ourselves. ~ Pema Chödrön
A nation is rarely transformed overnight.
The Mind is society’s garbage bin. Everyone who passes by stuffs something into it. - Sadhguru
Your mind should be sharp – otherwise you will miss the joke. When you miss the joke, you become the joke. - Sadhguru
"Whenever you are afraid of anything, remember, first of all, that there is a way out. It exists. It makes no difference whether you are presently aware of it or not; it still exists. This is a powerful idea to keep in mind. A man mistakenly assumes that his unawareness of something is the same thing as the non-existence of that something. But this is like assuming that an Egyptian pyramid doesn't exist merely because we haven't seen it as yet. We must not assume that our non-awareness of something is the same thing as its non-existence." -Vernon Howard
It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
