lately i’ve been realizing that , not only are the majority of blogs that follow me dead , but the ones i was hoping to connect with recently have…. no interest in this mess gghjgjhgd……….. so starting fresh sounds like a good plan .
with that in mind , rather than pursue new pals , i’ll only follow those who follow me first , with a few exceptions being sideblogs and familiar friends .

all of your faves -- at some time -- were once freshly conceived , underdeveloped , directionless , and quite possibly the fantastical self-inserts of your now favorite author . no joke !!! but we rarely have the chance to see how they blossom from the minds ( and frantically typing fingers ) of their published creators .
what i find so special about connecting with writers of ‘original characters’ here ... is that not only does the world of fiction get to welcome a new soul , we as partners ( or a collective audience ! ) are given the privilege to see the creative process that brings them to life . maybe i’m being romantic about it ... but that’s a big deal !!
no matter how different or removed a character is from their creator , it’s a big personal step to allow others , strangers even , to observe that evolution . role-playing original characters that come from the heart can help people connect to other worlds , in ways pre-established muses sometimes cannot -- and there’s a lot of exploring to be done !
whether they’re coming in to develop a muse from scratch , or they’ve had one for years and are still tuning the finer details . here’s to giving them the recognition they deserve .
and to those creators , you’ve probably heard countless times , no matter where you are in your character’s development... completely secure and wouldn’t fix a thing , or maybe in constant question of how often your mind is changing about them... you have every ding dang right to write to your heart’s content ! experiment . switch things up , get a little messy and have some fun !! those who want to spill your milk don’t know where to find the joy in creativity , and you are already a million steps ahead .
