Anyways yeah, this blog has been dead lately but I hope that changes because I have a lot of Dib muse, I just haven’t had the time. Rest assured he will be back, but I also want to use the few minutes I have working on other projects, such as my Poison Ivy blog.

Sorry I’ve been so inactive, with finals and everything, I’ve been busy. And I’m adopting a cat tomorrow, so I’ve been getting ready for that as well! Im also looking for a job, so there’s that. As soon as everything is stable, I should be back!

The reason why Dib calls Mabel ‘mi sol’ is because Dib’s life is really, really dark. He’s friendless (in the verses that he and Zim aren’t friends), he’s bullied at school, his dad is abusive, his sister loves him but doesn’t like him (if that makes sense), the entire world treats him with disdain, and nobody believes him about anything. He’s saving the earth by himself, getting traumatized all the way. Mabel however reminds him that there’s good in the world, that there’s light, that there are reasons to keep fighting. He sees her as his light in the dark, hence the nickname ‘my sun’.
