“It says it right here… Salazar Slytherin created the Chamber of Secrets to purge all muggle-born students. Interesting…” Aston says, reading the line from his textbook. The boy seemed a bit too intrigued with this chapter.
‘interesting? that’s a rather scary chapter to me.’
Roxanne lay idly on the soft grass of the Quidditch field, basking in the heat of mid Spring. Eyes gently closed, breath slow and calm, she focused on feeling every sensation; the sun on her face, the blades of grass tickling her arms and legs, the slight cool breeze flowing through her eyelashes. Lolling her head to the face the other side, Roxanne sensed a presence near, and she fluttered her eyes open to find an unfamiliar face staring down at her. “Have you been watching me long, friend?” she tenderly questioned the stranger, sitting up her torso as she stretched her arms above her head, letting out a dulcet groan.
‘not too long.’ jon shrugged, eyes drifting from her out towards the field. ‘you just looked really peaceful, mind if i disturb?’
“Don’t flatter yourself, Burke. I was merely pointing out that you’re OBNOXIOUSLY stepping on my bloody robe.”
‘how can you be obnoxiously standing on someone’s robe?’ jon question, still lifting his foot of the others robe.
“pretty much. i feel like if you can’t take life with a spoonful of sugar, than you need to get off the high horse.”
‘and i agree with that to some extent but this is important so either just let me finish them chew my ear off or go bother someone else.’
Henry was sitting at Jonathan’s table, his feet up on the chair next to him, and eating a lollipop, being obnoxiously loud while doing it. “Dude, you’re hearing voices, I didn’t say a word,” he said, smiling innocently.
jon’s brows furrowed, being so sure he heard the other talking but maybe the everything was just setting him off. his face softened, a sigh escaping as his head fell to the desk in exhaustion. ‘agh, you’re probably right. sorry.’ he turned to look up at the other, eyes droopy with sleep. ‘you mind waking me up in five?’
‘ oh? see, you must have one of those faces– it doesn’t matter what you’re doing, it always looks as if you’re doing nothing. expressionless ! - that’s the word. what’s the essay about?’
‘i don’t even know how to respond to that... regardless, it’s potions. never been my strongest suit.’
“because you asked so nicely, no. did you know that an average person has more lifeforms chillin’ on their skin than the whole planet does? and if you chew gum for an hour you’ll burn eleven calories. pretty cool if you ask me.”
‘life’s a joke to you, isn’t it?’
“Woah, there. Maybe you should calm down. It’s just an essay.”
‘not at this point, though that may be because i forgot to finish the previous essay so a lot riding on this one.’
“A professor yelled at me for being on the Quidditch pitch even though I had permission to do so. Some professors take their job way too seriously.”
'i feel as if some of our prefects are the SAME way.’
‘i know you like to think that i have all the time in the world to sit here and chat with you, but i NEED to get this essay completed. so if you'd kindly shut up...’
“I don’t know if I like this cat and mouse game very much, Jonathan,” Isadora tutted teasingly, pulling away from the boy she was just so entangled with. Standing a foot apart from him, she began to slowly unbutton her Slytherin blouse, staring straight into Jon’s eyes. “What happened to the Jon on that summer night?” another button undone, “the Burke that was so keen on telling me everything?” another. Isadora bit her lip, unbuttoning the final button before sliding the blouse off her shoulders, her arms, allowing it to flutter to the floor.
‘don’t you?’ jon quipped, his breath hitching in his throat as she began to unbutton her blouse. ‘we don’t keep secrets, isadora.’ he mumbled, barely even being able to concentrate on her words, or even his at that. he stood, simply without being able to form words, stepping closer to her, feeling rather dumbstruck. ‘is?’

Isadora smirked at the surprise in Jon’s voice before briskly moving her lips to pair with his, kissing him fervently– she noted silently that he tasted of cigarettes. While her hands made their way underneath his shirt, fingertips like a feather resting against the hidden skin, her right leg moved in between his own two, thigh pressing lightly to his groin. “Tell me your secret,” Isadora whispered as she pulled millimeters away, lips only ghosting over Jon’s.
‘isadora..’ her name left his breath, feeling her lips against his even after she pulled away and wanting more, wanting so much more. unable to form a string of words, simply standing there, lips hovering against hers, body leaning in and fists curling around her clothes so tight he felt he could almost rip them off. ‘you tell me yours,’
“– Is there any reason why you’re bothering me this early in the morning?” Henry glared at the person who was standing in front of him, before turning his attention back to eating his breakfast.
‘yes, well... the milk at the ravenclaw table is spoiled. could i borrow some or should i try again around noon?’
“Keeping secrets can be dangerous,” she said coolly, “but danger can be so fun.” Something in that moment washed over Isadora, and whether it was passion, ambition, zeal, she couldn’t place. With Jon’s hands touching her– one on her neck, the other on her waist– and with the slow building heat of the conversation, Isadora felt as if she had been drugged with Amortentia; her mind wanted only one thing. She stood on her toes once again, and moved her lips to Jon’s neck, placing slow, hot kisses in a line until she reached his jaw. “We could have fun… again.”
‘and we both know you have a knack for danger.’ jon laughed breathlessly, body leaning into hers as he felt her soft lips against his skin. and in that moment he realized just how much power she held over him, were they not unhappy with each other a little less than an hour ago? how did they end up here, feeling so helplessly drugged by her. ‘you want to have fun again?’
“Really? Had anyone interesting recently?”
‘well, isadora. though, i thought it was only a one time thing but seems to becoming more. not sure at this point, but feisty.’
