in last weeks’s UTAU meeting my idea of installing brain chips onto everyone so we can be part of a collective hive mind was rejected.

i am going to say something vulnerable, my feelings were greatly hurt by this and i haven’t stopped thinking about it.

i just simply do not think they should’ve been so rude about it. i heard a few giggles probably coming from ritsu after it was unanimously rejected.

i can’t help but feel discriminated against, do they think that because i am an android i do not have the ability to feel hurt? i think they are jealous of my bodily superiority, i bet if kasane teto had suggested my idea everyone would’ve been on board.

the art of making friends is a complicated one, lucky for you, you are asking an expert for advice.

some people start conversations with a greeting, but to be subversive and therefore more interesting, i recommend to start talking to the target without prior warning. For conversation, choose a mundane topic with an intellectual twist. For example, instead of talking about the weather, talk about the recent atmospheric changes in the planet. This way you will showcase your knowledge and platonic desirability.

after going on about the subject for a couple minutes, ask for the target's opinion on the it. (ie: after talking about atmospheric changes, ask them what level of air pressure their skin finds the most pleasing). Listening to their answer might be boring as it is rare to find someone as good at conversation as one, but I urge you to stay focused.

If the target's response back satisfies the expectations you have for a friend, then repeat step 1 and 2 until you are invited to continue this conversation in a more intimate environment (ie: room, coffee shop).

However if the target's response does not match your level of intellect, simply walk away. This way you are able to sort between the people you want around you and the ones you do not.

Furthermore, if you see yourself rejected by the target, understand that it is their fault for being antisocial, and proceed with this algorithm.

me and my android acquaintances have installed trackers on each other along with software that lets us know each other’s location.

last week, i noticed adachi rei visited a nuclear power plant, and ever since I’ve been scurrying away from her and avoiding her visited locations in fear of catching her radiation.

due to this, I’ve only been able to go to a gasoline station and a pet store with peace in mind, and i fear the day she decides to come visit my house. my world becomes smaller and smaller with each step she takes.

how does it feel to rust

i’ve only had this happen to me a couple times before i switched to non-oxidizing metal. becoming partially paralyzed due to rust in one’s joints is an experience i only wish on my worse enemies. it is always accompanied by a bodily discomfort so strong it pushes me into a despair that cannot leave me unless i go through a limb replacement, and since these are hard to get, it is usually long lasting and self destructive.

looks and beauty are hard things for me to understand, i find my face to have all the necessary components of a humanoid machine so i do not mind it.

However, my stature bothers me. It is inconvenient and occasionally starts a “humorous” dialogue among my peers about it.

as for jealousy, adachi rei’s mechanisms are quite impressive, i used to have negative feelings about this but in her kindness she offered to provide mechanical services to me, so my feelings have turned to admiration.
