I sometimes watch those Anania Gaydar interviews because I really like her, but the first time I see a trans man on there and she asks “what do you think trans men should do less of?” and he replies with “talk” and I’m actually so fucking tired of this shit. “Oh it’s just online discourse” no it’s fully part of the trans community now, this genuine disdain for trans men speaking up about fucking anything. The only trans men who ever get a voice are the ones willing to throw their brothers under the bus in order to make themselves look smaller while the rest of the community continues to spread lies and crack mean-spirited jokes at our expense. It’s gonna come to a point where I just don’t want to interact with the community anymore. Y’all don’t fucking deserve me.

If you’re not a trans woman you need to get way more comfortable with trans women talking about issues that don’t affect you. i really do believe we must start straight up asking some of these people what they think trans men were before our transitions, because other than the small amount of lucky ones who got raised as boys and transitioned young, we were all perceived and treated as girls, and for some of us not just as girls but as gender aberrant masculine girls that experienced transphobia as well as misogyny at a young age perhaps before they themselves even knew they were trans.

Begging the trans community to stop doing the transmasc vs transfem discourse shit. We both have it bad. We both face oppression and fetishization. We both have discriminatory and harmful legislation being pushed and passed against us. We both have puberties that we personally consider harmful. We both have expensive hormones and surgeries. We both have unique struggles in our transitions and in life before and after transition. To act as if one has it worse than the other just causes community infighting and nothing ever gets done.
