is a rapper, producer and song writer from Witbank (Mpumalanga , South Africa).
The stage name āHermaineMā
derived from his second name āHermanā
Heās fast gaining waves of interest in his local music industry with his fresh sound which is setting him apart from his peers.
He started rapping at the age of twelve
, having been influenced by his friend who was a producer and song writer at the time.
He is the former member of a hip hop group called ā Dueseā which consisted of four members including him. Later decided to leave the group , as it was nolonger that active.
He eventually mastered the process of music production and began adding his vocals on the beats he was producing , later signing to Johannesburg based artist management company, Pusha Productions .
From the beginning of his rap career heās been influenced by hip hop greats such as American rappers Bone Thugs n Harmony , fabulous , Omen, J.Cole , Hopsin, Kendrick Lamar as well local rappers such as Proverb, PRO and Reason, who he says still inspire him because of their work ethic .
In 2011 on his 11th grade , he got to meet and open for one of those role models, rapper PRO, at Witbank Dam one of the events hosted by his former management company, an experience he highlights as one of the best in his entire career and life.
2014 he released a single tittled āHugh Masekelaā
, he featured one of the well known music producers Triggerman ( the co-founder of Madlabmusic and TheDueWish Entertainment )
as tribute to the legendary Jazz musician whoās also from witbank.
He was then approached by the former member of āSkwatta Kampā Siyabonga Metane also known by his stage name āSlikourā ,
The song later posted on www.slikouron.com and gained love from the Twitter streets.
Early 2016 he got featured on
a re-make of Manyonyoba by B.O.P ( Oskido )
