Purple Pachyderm by Stegosaurus? ———————————- I saw the band Stegosaurus? mentioned in a long interview slinkrat did with Adam Gaensler in Shanghai. I was intrigued by the name, so I checked out the Stegosaurus? douban and listened to all of their most recent album. And then I found out they had it for listen/purchase (PWYW) at Bandcamp. They are four non-Asian guys based in Shanghai, and I would describe their music as not quite hard rock, not quite prog rock, and more sophisticated than punk rock. Maybe they remind me most of Radiohead, but the heaver Radiohead, not the softer stuff. They sound like a tight unit. That’s my impression, anyway. I enjoyed everything on Purple Pachyderm, and I recommend it!

I concur. To me, it's a great experience that takes me to my childhood and back again straight through space. It sounds a bit like something that lullabies would sound like in the Blade Runner universe.
