相忘于江湖 Shoreditch, London 2015 Taoist Zhuang Zi tells the story of two fish who met on land when the river dried up. To stay alive and keep moist, it was a lot of breathing on one another (not the prettiest metaphor). Though a touching shared experience, maybe it would’ve been better to have never been through the drought and each lived separate lives in their respective rivers and lakes.

Hop Kee Chinatown, New York, 2014 Loving school in the city, but missing Chinese food. I got a $5 haircut ($4 for men, $3 for wash) and a meal at Hop Kee on Mott this weekend; I still really miss proper northern Chinese food.
