내게 행복할 자격 있을까?Do I deserve to be happy?
Tablo, Home (via keixu)
If there was something Namjoon hated more than his actual problems with his homecountry, that was indeed being locked up in the middle of a traffic congestion, inside a taxi and with a photoset scheduled right in a few hours. And the traffic was so damn slow he would have kindly desired for his handgun to be right on his lap and to have the chance to blow a few bullets in the air and possibly cause whatever thing was blocking the road to disappear.
But that wasn’t North Korea —nor a videogame to say the least, and he was perfectly aware such a bold and definitely idiotic move would have only given even more reasons to the NSS to send him back where he was supposed to be locked up until the end of time , if not eventually executed on the spot. He had to force himself to breathe, hands moving to massage pulsating temples, plump lips being bitten with nervousness —only wanting the cab to move so he wouldn’t be forced to call the agency and tell them that because of a damn congestion he didn’t know when he could arrive at the location of the photoshoot for the actual styling.
And it seemed indeed that the odds weren’t in his favor —cab freeing itself after something like an hour and a half, the driver slurring apologies and discounts for the already furious looking model who just was trying to text the photographer, one of the secretaries, whoever would just notice him and tell that the set was moved to another day or if they could still wait for him, sound of the car door right next to him opening and the breeze causing his skin to quiver; and eyes darted quickly to whoever dared opening the damn door with the icy cold breeze announcing the arrogant presence of winter within the streets, his own dark irises meeting a similar pair, an awkward smile and the scent of juvenile innocence, milk and sweat.
A boy who still was nothing but a boy, far from the ruthless, coldhearted monster Namjoon was at his age —and still was, but that’s nothing but a detail, a little comma easy to ignore when it’s most convenient. Lips curl, courteous smile, hand moving on a gesture to reciprocate the greeting of the now second guest of that cab —elegance of the model he’s supposed to be being restored with a wink of dark lashes.
« We all have our rush, don’t worry. I am sure that sharing a taxi won’t hurt us more than traffic congestion can actually do. »
[⌘] The other's words came out calmly from his lips. Voice deep and relaxed, eyes on Jimin with some sort of display of kindness, Jimin couldn't put a pin on what it was. Unlike Jimin's shaking voice when he mumbled an "Okay," as he sat down, feeling an awkwardness in the air as he looked over at the other and offered a small smile when he closed the door, "really cold out there."
He felt sorry but he didn't need to be told twice, the stranger was willing to share the taxi with him and the seconds were ticking down. His breathing was still out of pace as he tried to calm himself down. His hands were shaking from the cold and his bones were aching, but this is only what he got for being out there for so long. After letting a small huff out, Jimin looked over at the stranger, smile still not leaving his face as his flushed cheeks made his eyes slit into crescents. "T-thank you, by the way. It must be bothersome," Jimin took a quick look at his lap before facing him again, "Uh, I'm going towards the station furthest in the east." He didn't really know why he was telling this to the stranger and not the driver, he figured he'd let him know that he'd wait till the other took care of his own business before he was taken to his own destination. He was in a rush but the man was already sharing the cab, he really couldn't ask for anything else more than that.
switching over his gaze to listen to words of the other, his lips gaping as he nodded in understanding. even though the whole pet thing didn’t apply to him. as for the room however, most definitely.
"I’ll be your roommate…"
"Ah, yes well--" Jimin looked at the other wide-eyed,
"wait,"
"what did you just say!?" Did he just find a roommate?
[⌘] He found himself walking through the vacant streets, rain pouring down on him as his bones trembled under his skin. It was another one of those nights where he was looking, completely oblivious to anything else going on around him. He was just searching for what kept him awake at night. Tonight had been another failure, Jimin was drenched in rain and his legs began giving up on him slowly. He was lost and sadness was written across his eyes as he glanced towards the two ends of the street. There was no one around, it was dark both ways so Jimin decided to keep walking straight. He wondered if this is how he could find what he was seeking, most nights were empty like this, he just needed to see that look in someones eyes but everyone kept looking away from him. It made anger bubble up inside the more he thought about it, and then shortly it was washed away by remorse because it was his fault that things were like this.
He began to walk slower, his breathing was faster and his bones were becoming stiffer. It was too much for them to carry, Jimin overworked them again and he felt sorry as he slowly walked to the side of the street. He looked around as he stood under a small roof to protect himself from the rain. There was really nothing but emptiness here. "Fuck," He swore under his breath, his hands were starting to shake. He let out a small groan as he took another look around, eyes searching for anything he could find familiar this time. He saw a sign, a red light dimly displayed on the other side of the street. He took his shaking hands in his pockets and walked across, eyes not leaving the red illumination when he stopped in front of the door to what it seemed it belonged to. He thought he could hear music coming from the inside, clinks of drinks and small distant chatter. He hoped his mind wasn't playing tricks on him as he knocked loudly, knuckles white and water dripping from his clothes.
Hi there, my name is Ana.
[⌘] "Hm?— Oh, hello.”
“I’m Jimin, er, nice to meet you.”

at the sight of the flier being taped to a nearby coffee shop, his eyes immediately shift off to read its content. “Roommate..?”
[⌘] Jimin looks over to the male curiously reading his flyer, a small smile spreading on his lips.
"Mhm, and look--" he points at the content under 'more:' "Pets allowed."
[⌘] "The effort I've put in finding a roommate is an embarrassingly large amount. The time I've put into to it is also embarrassingly long--
..."
Jimin sighed at the flyer he taped on the coffee shop wall.

[⌘] Jimin has a job interview to attend to in twenty minutes. The problem is that he's on the other side of the city, the streets are jammed with people and all of the taxi's are driving right past him. He's nearly gotten ran over two times, the icy wind is slicing through his skin and his bones wouldn't be able to keep up with it much longer.
He sways his hand in the air when he see's the yellow cab, watches it as it gets closer and waves more frantically when it drives past and stops to pick up a woman further down the street. Jimin sighs watching it, furrowing his brows as he shoves his hands in his pockets and waits for another cab. It's getting ridiculous, he thinks as he looks back at the road with determined eyes. Finally, he see's a cab pull over on the other side of the street. He watches it for a while, not seeing a sign of it waiting for anyone. So he makes a break for it, runs past the active traffic and angry drivers beeping their horns loudly. He shouts an apology as he runs past, nearly getting hit by a red car if it hadn't stopped right before him. He looked at the displeased driver before bowing and saying a flustered "S-sorry!".
When he gets to the other side of the street he slows down, merely jogs to the cab as white puffs of air escape through his lips. Finally, he smiles to himself as he opens the backdoor, huffing out a sigh of relief when he leans down to get inside. Then he freezes, locks eyes with the person already sitting inside. A handsome man sitting back staring at him, blonde hair and dark eyes. Jimin's eyes fall to the strangers long torso before he breaths out a small "Oh," He mentally punches himself, because after moments of staring at the car he didn't even take time to see if someone was already inside. He cursed under his breath before bowing slightly, eyes falling from the stranger and down to the ground--
"s-sorry, I didn't see you there."

[⌘] Living in a city made the beauty of the world disappear. Jimin was standing in the middle of the sidewalk, gazing up at the faded stars that sadly looked back down at him, as if reminding him of his mistakes. The stars were beautiful somewhere else, but from where he was standing now only the brightest would show themselves. It gave him an awful reminder. He wondered if he was looking up at someone talking about him, staring back down with love and affection in their eyes, with safety shaped in their protective arms. And that made him lament, made him whimper silently as the pearl-shaped tears slowly rolled down his cheeks from wide luminous eyes. The world around him turned into a blur of lights and then melted into grey. It was a terrible sight, Jimin thought. He had done something terrible.
