it was difficult getting out from underneath the watchful eye of his mother. granted, scott couldnât really blame her. he remembered bits and pieces, he remembered darkness, and then he remembered waking up in the middle of the woods before someone found him and brought him to the hospital but everything else? everything else was just blank.Â
he managed to get out with the excuse that he was just going out for coffee which wasnât necessarily a lie. the closest coffee shop was exactly where scott went before heading outside to sit at one of the tables. he wasnât completely unaware of the stares, the questioning eyes, and he couldnât deny that it made him uncomfortable. he looked up, gaze meeting with anotherâs as he offered a tight lipped smile.
She was grateful to be so out of the loop, though the drama she had being overshadowed by something else wasnât entirely something she happened to be against but this seemed like something else entirely..like people were staring with intent and call it her attempt at offering something other than sarcasm for once (a rare gift by the way) but she was trying. âKinda better to ignore them...-though I guess thatâs kinda what everyone says right..I donât know people are weird.â Maybe she wouldâve been reacting the same if she had a clue, it wasnât like he didnât seem familiar but she was from outta town.Â
