None of this made sense. Not a thing. The last living memory she had was when she stabbed herself in the stomach, looking in to the eyes of Damon Salvatore, begging him to let her die. She was SURE she had gotten her wish. There was a moment she remembered warmth and fuzziness. But somewhere that wish must have been denied. Because here she was, alive as one could be. Her hand ran up her arms, taking in the feel of her skin before she buried her nails in to her shoulder. A small portion of her bottom was buried in her teeth, tears evident in her eyes. This was not what she wanted, not even close, and she didn’t know how to deal. Sounds of footsteps filled her ears and she gripped herself closer. “Leave me be.” Her voice tried to sound firm, but it faltered greatly.

“You’re hurt, I can’t just leave you,” Riley insisted, looking at the older girl. She sat down next to her and said, “I’m going to help you because that’s what I do.”

chloe didn’t use her gift, mostly ashamed of it being that it was a black gift, but felt like she had to. getting into the person’s mind was always draining but she couldn’t tell if they were okay or not being that they were passed out outside her bar, chloe snapped out of it when she felt a hand clap down on her shoulder, “what the hell? do you get your rocks off scaring the mess out of someone?”

“sorry, i didn't mean to scare you,” riley said, with a gentle smile. “i was just checking to see if you were okay, you seemed a little off.”

Serena had just stepped out of her car after spending some time in Paris, not nearly enough time if you asked Serena but she was also happy to be back home. She had asked her driver to drop her off at the Palace hotel so that she could go and get a well deserved drink but as she looked around she realized it wasn’t where she wanted to be. The blonde quickly turned around, not noticing the person behind her that she walked straight into. “Oh my god. I’m so sorry. Are you okay?”

Riley squeaked when she felt the much taller girl barrell into her. She quickly recovered though, and said, “No problem, I’m a superklutz so I have no room to complain when people bump into me!”

I’m looking forward to that part the most. I mean, peaches and honey as best friends together forever. What’s better than that?”

“I hope they do too. If my kid had your kid as a best friend, the possibilities would be endless! There will never be a friendship like ours in history. No one could ever compare. A little Maya would be the cutest! She’d be running around, dancing on desks, being the best lil artist since her momma. I am Riley, but it’s not a trick - I swear I’m actually this cute! Aw, yay I’m glad you like it. She’ll be one of a kind. Of course I can manage it Maya, I’m the daughter of Cory Matthews, who was the king of schemes. There’s nothing better than that. It’s the best thing there is.”
