Whiskey brown hues were blown as whatever was in his drink pounded through his system. It had left a foul taste within his mouth and his mind was hazy as he moved throughout the mass of people that were all around him. He felt disconnected from everything and could feel cold hands on him that were pulling him somewhere. “W-What?” His voice was slurred as he weakly tried to pull away from the hands.

“Great,” she said with a relatively bright smile. She could get through tonight unscathed, with her cover fully intact. She was absolutely certain of it. As she stepped into Chuck’s apartment, her eyes began to wander instinctively as she surveyed the scene. Although she had been to his apartment on numerous occasions, she still struggled to feel comfortable while she was here. After all, she was only there to do her job. Turning around to face Chuck, she offered him a warm smile. “I assume Ellie and Devon are both on the night shift? And Morgan is counting down the hours ‘til you two can be together again?”

Sarah had been in his house many times and yet he wondered how she viewed it. Was it her ideal place for an asset of the government? He didn’t know. “Yeah, everyone has told me to have fun and take pictures.” He grabbed his jacket and put it on to complete the dressed down look. “You ready to head to our first destination on this fake-date-but-can-be-two-friends-hanging-out-thing?”

Sophia calmed down almost immediately after telling him, “Half sister, but to me half is more than I have.” Sophia said looking up trying to hold back tears, “I mean, I will completely understand if you want to check this out. I know if someone came to me and said, ‘HEY, our deadbeat dad walked out on me too, wanna start doing Sunday dinner.’ I would check it out.” Sophia offered, “Unless you believe me?”  Sophia asked half questioning and half hoping.

Spencer could see anxiety and stress melt away at his words. Now he looked, he could see small sections of his father. But she must have more of her mother’s facial make-up. Most women inherited facial features from their mothers. “I’ll need to do some checks. Not that I think you would be the kind of person to make such a thing up, but as a federal agent, I’ve seen it before.”

Sophia relaxed a bit and shook her head, “It-its hard to explain, this must be so crazy for you, I must look like some crazy, stalker fan coming to kill you. I swear to you that is not my intention.” Sophia said stepping back a few steps and putting her book bag on the seat, pulling out a folded paper, “I heard about you, and escaped my shitty life to come here. I was hoping that maybe this would work out better than LA.” Sophia looked up and looked back at Reid, she wasn’t ready but she also didn’t want to end up in cuffs or kicked out of the university for stalking. “I don’t know if I expected you to see him in me, maybe you don’t even look anymore, or maybe I just look too much like my mom.” Sophia says softly turning the piece of paper around and around nervously, “Your dad was is William Reid and so is mine.” Sophia said opening up the birth certificate, “I’m your sister.” Sophia finally admitted.

Spencer chuckled and shook his head. “Not crazy. Just a pattern. I’m trained to notice them. I didn’t think you were.” Then again, he wouldn’t have called his last stalker a killer. As she spoke, he put his own bag down. She’d come here for him? That was starting to go back into the stalker territory. But he was going to hear her out. He blinked in surprise as she spoke his father’s name. Not that he’d counted his father as one since he’d left. He took the certificate and looked it over. It looked and felt real. “You’re my sister. Well, half-sister.”
