Ridiculous
The man saw no need to question the matter any further? It admittedly struck the boy as abnormal, even suspicious (Though who was he to talk?), but even so he as glad for it. The less a person decided to interrogate him the better. Yet, considering the speed at which the elder had intercepted him and apparent knowledge of his foreign status, Van could only be wary of this apparent âhospitalityâ. Things just didnât work like that.
"âŠIf you could just point me to the nearest townâŠ"
{â} This child didnât seem like much of a talker, that was fine with the traveling dhampir though. He was not the type of man to continue on with mindless chatter, he only spoke when something was worth speaking about. If there was nothing important to say then he would merely stay quiet until that occasion arises. Lifting a hand and pointing a lone thumb behind. âA small village is a few miles south of here. Itâs best to move quickly before night settles in.â
"Thanks..." was the boy's muttered answer. Without another word he began to move in the direction indicated -- albeit somewhat warily, for he did not trust the stranger despite the help given. That was just his way. Still, part of him was curious, wanted to linger and find out more about this odd man and whatever world it was he'd happened to stumble into. But he didn't. The urge was quelled and the juvenile started down the path.

My muse agrees to be completely honest and spare no details for one of your muse's curiosities, but only one. What does your muse try to find out from mine?
Ridiculous
Company, for him, was a displeasure to say the least â more so when in unfamiliar territory and with an unfamiliar person. It was enough to make him frown immediately and even debate conversing with the black rider. It was unlikely to do the young thief any good after all. But â then again â he did need directions. Van cursed mentally as he used a ragged sleeve to wipe some of the dirt from his face, gaze shifting to the stranger. No, he certainly wasnât happy.
"âŠAccidentâŠ" A true enough answer. It wasnât like he could exactly say "oh, I got dropped here by a semi-sentient prick of a dimension that seems to have it in for me". That would just sound crazy.
{â} AnâŠaccident. Just a mere accident and nothing more? It wasnât the craziest of excuses in fact it was the most normal, but it was still quite vague for the dhampir. How can someone jumping from one dimension to the next be an accident? Certainly there was more information this child was withholding but D saw no further reason to pry.
Besidesâ the ivory child looked annoyed enough.
"Do you need any assistance in getting back or do you have a specific destination you want to travel to here?"

A rough sigh leaked from the child in response to the sound of the dark gateway closing somewhere behind him. Yeah, definitely didnât look like he was getting back to his own world anytime soon. Yet, for all his annoyance at the situation, he simply scratched the back of his head before letting his arm drop. This really was only a minor inconvenience. God how he hoped there was some form of civilization nearby though. Van didnât much like being without any bearings as it was, and the current lack of shelter and supplies didnât ease that sentiment any. Then again, neither did the hoofbeats also coming from even further behind. Just his damn luck.
{â}Â Â As the dhampir approached the source of the spatial disturbance, a young boy in white came into view. And oddly enough, he was the only one aroundâno one else was here but them. A mere child was the cause of the distortion of time and space? Thatâs certainly something unheard of.
Thereâs no wayâbut then again looks where always deceiving.Â
"Forgive my manners butâ" Dâs usual monotonous and quiet voice rose to catch the childâs attention. "May I ask how on earth did you arrive to the frontier?"

Van officially despised his rotten luck. It simply wasnât enough that he fell into that damned Abyss again, no, for now he found himself in an unfamiliar land. Unsurprisingly, he muttered several profanities under his breath as he shuffled along the roadside. Stupid dimension didnât even have the decency to drop him near a town⊠But in the end, the situation truly didnât matter all that much to him. As soon as he found civilization he would simply go back to his usual lifestyle. Wouldnât keep the little thief from complaining to himself though.
{â} What was this strange feeling he sensedâlike the very fabric of space and time began to distort and clash with one another. This wasnât mere dark magic, no mere wizard was powerful enough to do something like this. Unless this was the work of something not entirely human. The very thought began to consume D, inter-dimensional travel was a concept not widely discussed around these parts since achieving such a feat was near impossible in itself.
The hunterâs ebony mare began to gallop wildly towards the rip in his dimension. While the rider on top was extremely eager to witness the man, or monster, with these terrifying powers.

SHIT HELLO I'M ALIVE-
I composed âStatice," Elliot Nightrayâs piano piece from Pandora Hearts. (I kind of want to make some soundtracks for scenes that occur after the show ends, and I figure variations of this melody would show up in other tracks, if I made them, like Elliotâs flashback scenes).
Itâs just a fan composition, and Iâm not a professional pianist (pretty damn far from it, actually), but I tried to create a piece that sounds like something Elliot would write =)Â

â°ââ± âI can feel you staring at me, you know."
"...Why are you out here?" Honestly Van would've expected him to be inside somewhere. At the very least, with those he cared so much for.
