The weather was starting to get colder, and after getting frozen in the Iceberg Lounge, Stephen was definitely not a fan of the cold. A particularly chilly day found him in Central Park, practicing a particularly complicated warming spell that was supposed to self sustain and change with the external temperature. Seated on a bench, the Cloak of Levitation holding up two large tomes in the air beside him, he frowned in concentration, mumbling to himself and sketching mandalas.
“Weather spells, always so fickle,” he muttered to himself, and the Cloak nodded as though in agreement, before tilting and ‘staring’. Stephen glanced over, raising an eyebrow. “Yes?” he asked, “Can I help you?”
@earthstarters
miles had seen some strange stuff in his life. well, more like the more the last few years that he’d been running around as spider-man -- but still. compared to those -- and yes, this was including the talking spider-pig --, this took the cake. he’d never actually seen someone do magic before, so hence why he’d wound up staring at the man in the park as he did some sort of spell. “um-- no-- i just-- i’ve never seen magic before,” he stammered, brows knitting together. “sorry for staring, mister. didn’t mean to be rude or anything.” he paused. “have you always been able to do that stuff? or did you learn it?”
