in poor daemon’s defence, it would be cuckoo bananas if he’d guessed that they were time travellers (including his great-great grandson) from 100 years in the future who have come to unfuck the timeline.

And i have to admit that it was kinda sus that they both appeared on that beach, and I’m the author who intentionally wrote it that way 🤭

the crazy part is that they're both right (baelor and dunk ARE up to something AND they're hot for one another) but they're also both wrong (they're not traitors and they're not fucking YET).

So read the new chapter foreshadowing probably went over my head still but!!It was still amazing as always!!

I forgot to mention that Daemons distrust is probably low key racist towards Baelor and it is somewhat read as is to other people.

With that said I had a headcanon senerio were Daemon catches them and instead it looks more like Daemon exposes Baelor for being gay and now confirmed Dornish. And now everyone's looking at Daemon crazy cuz he didn't have to do all that to a decent enough guy that he just doesn't like. Like both his and Rhaenyra kids looking at him with the bombastic side eyed. Makes me laugh thinking about it.

Meanwhile Baelor and Dunk off to the side taking a minute of relief 😮‍💨 before running with it bc its free real-estate.

I wrote the foreshadowing being like 'ahh i'm overplaying my hand here, everyone's going to know' but so far I've got away with it which means it's going to be a big surprise 🤭

Daemon is having the worst time trying to convince everyone that gay people can be spies too.
