This happened back when I was hospitalized at a different hospital. One day, the nurses seemed super busy and kind of stressed out. So I asked one nearby: Me: “Is something going on?” Nurse: “Well… we’ve got a new patient today who tends to wander around, so we’re all on alert.” Me: “Ahh, I see.” Nurse: “We set up motion sensors that go off when someone leaves their room, but somehow they keep sneaking past them…” Me: “…Snake?”

It’s been over ten years since I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. After countless tests… My body has somehow become completely resistant to sedatives during procedures. Me: “Yeah, this isn’t working.” Doctor: “We’ve already doubled the dose, though.” Me: “I’m still fully conscious.” Doctor: “…Seriously?” At this point, I might as well be a member of the Zoldyck family.

Doctor:“I’d like you to drink 5 packets of Elental (it’s pretty nasty, though) per day, if possible.” Me:“Five packets…?” ‐ So, 5 packets means… I mix each packet with 300ml of water, right? That’s 1,500ml if I multiply by 5… 1.5 liters… 1.5 liters…? Impossible…Maybe?

While I was in the hospital, my gamer friends let me hang out in their Discord server. I couldn’t join the games, obviously, but just listening to their chaotic banter really helped me stay sane. Super grateful for that.

A few years ago, when COVID first started spreading, I was in the hospital, just like now. But being stuck in a hospital room, I couldn’t really feel the changes happening in the world outside. When I was finally discharged, it was honestly a bit overwhelming. - And now, they’re saying something called ‘Nimbus’ is trending… I’m honestly super anxious about it…(´；ω；｀)
