How you spell “The Berenstain Bears” could be proof of parallel universes

“You need to look up the Berenst#in Bears problem.”

It was this innocent comment left on a post about parallel universes that first pulled by Rob Schwarz of Stranger Dimensions into one of the internet’s strangest theories. It involves The Berenstein Bears, a loving family of anthropomorphized bears who taught children life lessons via hundreds of picture books and two TV shows. But the problem is they aren’t The Berenstein Bears, they’re The Berenstain Bears.

Though a startling number of people remember the name as BerenstEin, it’s in fact spelled BerenstAin, just like the authors Stan and Jan Berenstain. But is it possible that so many people are just wrong about the title? Back in 2012, blogger Reeceoffered up another explanation: Some of us have recently crossed over from a parallel universe.

He argues:

… at some time in the last 10 years or so, reality has been tampered with and history has been retroactively changed. The bears really were called the “BerenstEin Bears” when we were growing up, but now reality has been altered such that the name of the bears has been changed post hoc.

Somehow, we have all undergone a π/2 phase change in all 4 dimensions so that we moved to the stAin hexadectant, while our counterparts moved to our hexadectant (stEin). They are standing around expressing their confusion about the “Berenstein Bears” and how they all remember “Berenstain Bears” on the covers growing up.

Those who remember the name as “Berenstain” are native to this “A” Universe, while those who are sure it’s “Berenstein” traveled over from the “E” Universe.

Thoroughly weirded out and a little repulsed by these new swastika MDMA presses, with the fucking SS logo on the back. Not only to they contain a ridiculous dose (288mg) but that’s a fucking disgusting symbol to use on a press, ironically or not.

And if and when the media gets wind of some idiot ODing on one of these ridiculously over the top presses, what kind of message does that send? Fuck these presses man, if you gave me one I’d destroy. Fuck fascism and the spreading of fascist iconography, even ironically.

It’s simply wrong to produce presses with these insane dosages and not give warning to the people taking them we had a system for every 100mg of mdma we called the pill stacked so single stack means 100mg double 200 triple 300 never heard of more than a triple stack. Pleaee do something like this if you’re involved in the distribution of these high dose presses. It’s only right to warn people please we want safety first and foremost this kind of thing is why people get hurt and others go to jail. Because when people start to od from the pills they are going to try and find the man selling such high end presses.

If you get a europe press ie ups trip advisors burger kinds or whatever you should expect a 200-300mg pill….thats why theres a snapline for proper dosages, all the people that are oding are only oding because its their first time on mdma and there body couldnt handle it either way. Look into how amphetamines work on the brain and you’ll realise why LOL i can confirm this because ive ate over 1.5grams of PURE84% mdma not cut pills, crystal with 0 problems. The od limit with mdma is very high(800mg pure mdma) and no 300mg pill would make anyone od unless they have existing health problems.

Mate, I’m a medicinal chemist. Don’t try to teach me about the actions of substituted amphetamines in the brain, I’ve written whole essays on the synthetic and metabolic chemistry of MDMA.

Moreover, these new swastika SS presses have no snapline. So even if one followed your “If it’s got a snapline, snap it” logic, you’d still fall foul of these.

There is a wide variation in response to MDMA in the general population. Some people (including yourself, it seems) can tolerate high doses without significant acute problems. Others cannot handle more than a couple hundred milligrams without hyperthermia and subsequent rhabdomyelysis if untreated. 800mg may be around the LD50 of MDMA, but LD50 is nowhere near the minimum lethal dose.

Moreover, not all overdoses are lethal doses. It is entirely possible that MDMA can cause toxic effects in users at doses below 300mg, and these count as overdoses.

Basically, you’re full of shit. Take your “84% PURE” basic swagmeister understanding out of here and leave the conversations on toxicity to those of us with some training in the field.
