"Whoa, wait… You’re in here willingly?" Shaking his head as a frown pervaded across his features for a handful of moments. "Rough trade." Coughing a bit again but he muffled the sounds into the sleeve of his arm and wiped a bit of blood on the back of his hand. Tonight wasn’t a good night for him but he soldiered through it like he always did and took the bad nights with the good even though the former were becoming more common than the latter. "Most people here are lost causes, just puttin’ that out there… Sort of sucks the air outta your lungs and the sunshine outta your Lucky Charms if you know what I’m sayin’." Sheepishly smiling once more. "Good on ya for wanting to volunteer though, really."
"I have my reasons, really. I don't want to be here, yet I do. There's something that-.." shaking her head, she figured it was best to not discuss her plans with a patient, her body moving right back off the wall. "Most people in general are lost causes." she mumbled, crossing her arms over her chest. "Things are only as bad as people make them. You could have everything absolutely wrong with you, and still find peace in yourself, even in a place like this. This place is horrible, but it's temporary, one way or the other." she scrunched up her nose as she processed what she said. "That didn't make sense." she looked down at him, half smiling. "Any troublemakers I should look out for?"
