taylorrrrrrrr!!! the minute i got home from my 15 hour shift i snuggled up in bed and turned on lover. i recorded the whole thing in segments so i could visually reflect on my initial reactions, as well as journal at the same time! whether the songs made me dance, feel emotional, experience joy, i could resonate well with, and so much more, it all left me in awe. this album is one for the books, and it’s all yours buddy :) please enjoy this video of a rollercoaster of first emotions xx

the man is so powerful because i honestly cannot think of the male equivalent to taylor. there isnt a single male artist dead or alive who has done what taylor has for the music industry. from writing an entire album by herself and switching genres to disappearing for two years and rerecording 10 years worth of her discography, the things she’s accomplished arent even comparable to men. she’s completely changed the game for interacting with fans and releasing music in a way no other man has even dared to touch. and on top of all of that, she’s dealt with the gross double standards and sexism in the industry.

Sooooo I finished with Lover and wow - I’m blown away. The lyrics, the productions, the melodies, everything is... perfect?? Like, there is not a single thing I would have changed.

Paper Rings is going to be the song I will remember driving down the road on a hot day like today with my little sister, blasting & yelling the chorus we only half remember. Thank you for making Lover Taylor, it is truly a masterpiece, my favourite album by far yet.

Isn't it wild to think that in just a couple of hours we are going to be introduced to the soundtrack of our lives for the next couple of years?
