After Ace's death, Luffy keeps collecting younger siblings. Shirahoshi, Momonosuke, Tama and now Bonney,too.

He's also immitating his older brother, Ace, in the way he interacts with them. He often shows them a kind of "tough love " which is how Ace treated him whsn they were younger.

Luffy being motivated from his older brother he misses in the way he interacts with younger ppl is something so precious and sad at the same time.
