Yup all or almost all of that which pertains to love, most straight men reserve exclusively for other men. The people whom they admire, respect, adore, revere, honor, whom they imitate, idolize, and form profound attachments to, whom they are willing to teach and from whom they are willing to learn, and whose respect, admiration, recognition, honor, reverence and love they desire… those are, overwhelmingly, other men. In their relations with women, what passes for respect is kindness, generosity or paternalism; what passes for honor is being on your pedestal. From women they want devotion, service and sex. lol so yessss, heterosexual men ONLY look to women for sex and a domestic life. But their deep emotional respect, validation, and profound attachments are predominantly reserved for other men. So let whoever go ahead get married and start a family with a man. lol She'll most likely get cheated on, live life raising him as her child too or live a life where her wants and needs will always come second and if they ever don’t the men gets jealous or becomes her biggest hater.

But yeah no reason for us to be upset. As long as your part was genuine it’s best to just move on.
