starting with louis, i'm really proud of how he turned out. i fell down a rabbit hole of researching period fashion for this one (ᵕ ´ᗜ`)

some designs for the main gang, featuring keith, joan, louis and patricia. also some beta designs for keith before i decided where i was going with his outfit

christine! that's another design i'm really happy with, maybe i should color this one at some point

trish, jean, and emil. i tried different hairstyle ideas for trish before settling on the ponytail (crazy how the other hairstyle makes her look like maggie though)

for jean i decided to keep shaun's hairstyle, i think it looks cute on her

genderswapped ollie, who honestly could still be named ollie. or maybe liv, haven't decided yet

and last but not least, check out these sketches i found in an old notebook, i think they're from five years ago (⊙_⊙) it's funny how i didn't change the designs much since then

something i really enjoyed about chapter 224 is the contrast between edward, eileen and gerald going from villains who endanger children on the daily with no hesitation to relatively normal people helping save a village within like. a month outside the manor

specially with edward's line saying "coming to this village changed my way of thinking. villagers have families, and lives. they're alive"

it really drives home that the manor is a toxic environment, and the impacts it can have on someone. i bet it's easier to be act as they used to when humans are just "dolls", nobody dies, they get "disposed of", and everyone's already supposed to be so cutthroat anyways

on the same note, i also like how they managed to present this without making it into some black and white "the manor is the source of all evil and nobody would do the shit they do had they not grown up there" situation. anthony came from this exact same village and he was already up and killing pre selection, but one point doesn't negate the other

the way Mia is so willing to reject the truth and live in the lie of the manor and the fact she killed her family shows her desperation I'm so curious to see what caused her to be so desperate to do such a thing

Let’s get Hind’s Hall to Number 1. Macklemore has stated that ALL proceeds from streaming will be going to UNRWA to help displaced Palestinian families. So, if you’re struggling financially, this is a brilliant way to raise funds that will help affected families get the help that they need, whilst simultaneously spreading a very important message.

It’ll essentially mean we’re getting streaming services to pay up, as typically they pay artists around $0.003 per stream— so, for example, if Hind’s Hall reaches 10,000,000 (ten million) on Spotify alone, that’s $30,000 for UNRWA. Life changing numbers.

The best way to amplify streaming is by adding it to your playlists, or making a playlist with duplicate additions of the song (with other tracks inbetween.) Again, thank you to Macklemore for doing this and using your platform.
