Guthrie IN. 2015 This is a perfect example of finding a great shot right in your own backyard! I have spent the last two years photographing sharecropper's houses in North Carolina.

Southern Charm I have spent the last two years, off and on, photographing around Rocky Mount North Carolina. In this time, as stated in the previous blog, I have been drawn to showing what I understand to be "Sharecropper's houses." So in this post, I'd like to take a moment to show the other side of what the area has to offer.

Pittsboro N.C. Sometimes getting lost in a new place can yield some surprising results. This place was once known as the Gum Springs Grocery.

Rocky Mount N.C. 2015 #5 Fifth in the series called "Silent Strength, Sharecropper's Houses of North Carolina." This place looks like it has been lived in recently.

Rocky Mount N.C. 2015 #4 This would be a great place to live in out in the woods. Compared to the new "Tiny House" movement, it looks like a mansion.
