Reboot
So I’ve been getting a ton of harsh criticism about this comic project.
I wanna explain some stuff about Old Dog.
It happened as an attemt to separate myself from NSFW-only work (hence why there’s no xxx in Old Dog) and as an attempt to try a webcomic format.
I’ve always struggled with my narrative cuz i’m used to write stories for role-playing games (dnd, wod. Been a ST/DM for 20 years). While I’ve been even praised for my stories in those formats, when I try to adapt them to comics, I ALWAYS fail. Old Dog was originally planed as an exercise, nothing more.
As such, I was bound to fail. And, oh boy, did it fail.
I got to a point where I can’t no longer advance in the way I originally intended to mostly cuz I was so terrified of you, the audience. I was afraid to make a content that you’d hate from start. I have many issues in my head and one of them is a terrible fear of rejection so it kind of fucked the project from day 1.
 I eventually learned to kind of ignore that fear with this comic (sort of, cuz i didn’t do it in it’s totality) but it was way too late.
 I did however grew fond of the characters and think they deserve a chance to actually have a spotlight and be developed. So I’m gonna take all that I learned from this experience and start over. With a focus, with a plan, with help from an actual writter. So next time you see something about old dog it’ll be a reboot of the comic. I hope you understand and continue following, sharing and commenting. help this guy learn how to actually translate his stories into a comic in a correct manner without having to fall into nsfw.
