It sucks mega hard that anti-blackness and colonization has led to fat bodies being dehumanized and seen as undesirable, especially POC fat bodies. I even have had internalized fatphobia ruin my mind.

when I lost weight I got told how beautiful and skinny I am, but those compliments stopped once I gained again. fatphobia is rooted in so many negative things but mainly fascism and colonization as many enslaved black women were fetishized and dehumanized for their larger sizes.
