This is @eisenbernard

He ,in this moment, actually runs my favourite Tumblr account. His work is growing out of the idea to break up the birdes if styles by editing musicians album covers or magazine covers into and onto paintings with mire of a classy oldschool style. The results are ift pretty brilliant and include classic albums like “David Bowie” and newer music e.g. From the sadly dead Micheal jackson and his album “Xscape”.

The humor he nevertheless somtimes puts into his work cant be overlooked, but stil doesnt steal the serious artwork he creates.

For me, a cool way to show the characteristics of the stiffened old-paintings-society defiantly show that their paintings with a bit of help are far more capable than dusting on the wall. That they are capable of being a completely new work of art.

The Minolta X 700

When it comes to photography this is my little baby. Built in the 80′s then it was a camera for professional photographers. Nowadays with the Retro-rapids of our Society-River, i bought this mind-blowing analogue thing. Including the camera itself, two objectives(macro/zoom and Tele), a strap to wear it around the neck, a flash and a bag for all of that i bought it on eBay for not more than 28 euros, which is such an incredible prize you normally wouldn’t get for just the camera without any objectives and so on.

I Fell in love with this camera when i saw the photos of my first black and whit film. And was helplesslessly fallen for it, when i first used The “Kodak Ektar 100″ which ill be talking about too from time to time. 

The details the X 700 serves are as good as Digital Megapixel-Monsters, as you can see when you take a loot at the pictures i upload with this post. BTW: I didnt edit them at all.

All in all it is a fantastic camera with more than fantastic results. Probs to Minolta.

Sticky Fingers - Rolling Stones

Ok, Lets start all of this with a remarkable little baby of my young collection of vinyls. Its The 1971 Album “Sticky Fingers” by The Rolling Stones containing the following songs:

The Pressing i own and proudly present here is a 1979 german pressing wich is still sealed, but opened to be able to get the record itself out of the sleeve. The Awesome about this Version is the characteristics about the album cover. As you can see, it pictures a photography of a mans trouser in the “special” parts, on the front the front and on the back the ass of definitely a man (check the front in detail ;) ). This Trouser pics were upgraded with a REAL ZIPPER on the cover sleeve, which wasn’t on later pressings anymore, bc it destroyed other records covers. And when when you unzip the zipper, you’ll get to see a picture of an underwear, which makes this cover art and concept, designed by ANDY WARHOL, a masterpiece of record-sleeve-art. This Was probably, why i bought this pressing for 40 Euros at the Recordstore “Hitsville” in the city i live in. Düsseldorf.

In addition that, “Sticky fingers” serves masterpieces of composing. For example “Brown Sugar” or "Wild Horses" which becam big hits in the stones history. But "Sticky fingers definitely ist carried by those hits. It works as a piece, with well balanced rocky and acoustic sounds, which are from my point underrated a lot. "Sister Morphine" for example reminds me, in its stairlike building from acoustic to electric and drum sounds, of "Stairway to heaven" and at no point has to hide behind Led Zeppelins Most successfull song and shows up at #1 on my top 5 list of the album:

Goddamn was it hard to set this list. All songs from this album have the same value as gold for sure, which obviously is, together with Andy Warhols Cover, the reason, why Sticky Fingers became one of best albums by the stones and ended up in popularity reaching a lot further than the rock-society into everyones vinyl collection.

The Mall of Berlin LP12 This is quite a cool Mall with a multicultural foodcourt and lots of different stores from high-class fashion labels to usefull stuff stores. And pretty creative with store names and important quotes in the bottom. Visit it, when you are Berlin once. Just a shot with my Iphone, no special photo skills in need
