Travel En Vogue.
I just love saying the name and vogueing at the same time.
A quick bio on the company: Travel En Vogue is a luxury property rental company that partners up with condo/suite owners of 5 star hotels like Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons. TEV then takes the weeks that the properties are available and rents them out to the public.
They reached out so I can help them sell their brand to the public. Since the current site was done 14 years ago with just basic HTML, it didn’t have the wow factor. We also didn’t want the website to look like another hotel website, you know, those ‘cookie cutter’ websites.
So after collaborating and a few mock-ups later, we finally found a design that best suits the company. The idea behind the botanical is pretty genius and, no, I didn’t think of it. I would like to thank Caitlin McCarthy for inspiring me.
So the botanicals currently represents 3 things: City, island and mountain. Since their property listings are from all over the place, I wanted the consumers to experience the feeling you get when you see a snowy pine tree or palm trees on the beach and even a house plant in a loft. Very different scenes but the same type of comfort and TEV offers all three.

This brand identity composition is very contemporary and simplistic in terms of the texture itself, as well as the pastille colour palette. The marbling effect creates a very interesting outcome, and makes use of blank space very well. It could also be used as a layering technique with different type faces, and alternating opacities.

두 남자 이야기 _정조와 햄릿
This collection of designs are editorial works designed to advertise a new performance and exhibition. The shadowing, mix of photographic media and digital illustration turns out to be a very nice mix of the two. The almost desaturated, pastille background colour background makes the vibrant images on top take their own place in the design.
The digitally illustrated line drawn designs aid the photography visually, as well as add in more of a light hearted, comedic style, and set a more artistic style to the collection.
