The world views Omegas as property, ruled by their hormones, made to stay home and cook and clean. Young omegas are contracted out in short term “marriages”, usually to benefit their family, or, in Tony’s case, Howard’s company. These can last from a week to a year. Many are later married off permanently. Tony was contracted out by his guardian, Obadiah Stane, to many rich and powerful Generals and Politicians to secure Stark Industries interests, up until he sent Tony to Afghanistan to be killed when the omega was 21. Tony didn’t die, he came back Iron Man.
He is now 25, the Avengers have saved New York, and like the good omega he is, he’s started up Damage Control and has been cleaning up the aftermath.
Different omega lines have different healthiness levels, personality traits, etc. omega bodies are special, and can patch the DNA of their mates, so if an Alpha breeds them who has genetic issues, those issues will not be passed to the children.
Tony is from the Cravena line, a line known for being impeccably healthy, and birthing a high percentage omega children. They’re also known to be fierce and strong willed.
