Never really stopped being a fangirl but as I'm getting older it seems that I am becoming more introverted. I spent so much of my early 20's trying to fit in and be extroverted. I lost touch with many fandoms I loved and cherished. I'm happy to say that at 28 when I am not busy trying to be supermom, working, and keeping up with my house chores I finally am feeling truly like me again.

I'm throwing myself back into fandoms, hobbies, and spending time doing things I love. Even if that looks like just staying home more often than not. I was diagnosed with autism in September of 2024 and I think I am finally making progress in my journey of re-self discovery. I am feeling more confident physically and mentally and I've really started to become okay with not being liked and not being a people pleaser.

So huzzah to finally feeling like me again, and I will hopefully be more active on this blog!

bingewatching will never come close to bingereading. there is nothing like blocking out the entire Earth for ten hours to read a book in one sitting no food no water no shower no bra and emerging at the end with no idea what time it is or where you are, a dried-up prune that's sensitive to light and loud noises because you've been in your room in the dark reading by the glow of a single LED. it's like coming back after a three-month vacation in another dimension and now you have to go downstairs and make dinner. absolutely transcendental
