harry: you wanna go to a real party?

“I’ve literally been trying to unpack for hours now - look at this place, it’s a mess. I made a good start until I decided to go skinny dipping in the pool, remind me to take you to it, it’s to die for. And then binged on Stranger Things, which freaks me out so all lights are on tonight. But it’s been eight hours and boxes everywhere - it’s a fucking mess. Right, you’ve answered my text and you’re here so let’s get started in the bedroom, yeah? If you get me unpacked by tonight I’ll offer you more than just dinner, maybe a drink or two.”
“First of all, stranger things is amazing. Don’t know why you’re creeped out by it. Second of all, how many bags could you possibly have? I’m sure we’ll be done in no time.”

he is the dangerous boy with the wild heart and I am the girl who never stops trying to coax the softness out of his shell. he makes me feel free and I give him the freedom to be, to hurt, to feel, to love. his lips taste like thunder and I have always tried to brave the storm.
i tried not to love him, by j.h. (via alyxofrp)
“–Until sunrise.” He affirmed, “That’s your deadline.” The male then half-mused, a neutral ambiguousness laced within his voice. Hunched down over the bar he was level to her, eyes level, shoulders level, head level. The glittering pool below reflected up to them, sending blue-clear swirls over either of their features, hers soft while the male’s stood rather defined. A small smile, gentle, and almost innocent amusingly tugged at his full lips at her rather broad assumption, “You shouldn’t say that either.” He simply replied, shaking his head, “Some people…” The male trailed off, “– They live for the inexplicable.” Rafe stood then, before looking down to her for the first time, “I know them. In a world that’s so definite, I can understand.” For some reason, he’d opened up to her a litte– cracked open whatever surface he had and started talking for once. A part of himself enjoyed it, another simply did not.
Eyes lazily darted down her torso as she stood to wipe her hands on her jeans. He easily ignored her sarcasm, his whole attitude, and movements nothing less than dismissive. It was a tool he found rather useful. – Avoidance, that was. The heel of his boot clicked against one of the shingles as he brought it over to straddle the peak of the dark mass, his hands instantly pressing to the black asphalt directly in front of him. He felt the gravelliness under his touch, and instantly his mind wandered to the idea of workers nailing each and every shingle in, a sole square at a time. What were their lives like? Were they happy? He wouldn’t help how his mind worked– how he thought too much, and that he continuously– subconsciously made networks and webs of acute observations and memory. He remembered everything that had ever happened to him. Everything. The male’s jaw clenched at her question, sending divots up either cheek, once more the faintest of amused smiles finding his lips, “Yes.” He simply answered, his smirk growing, “The universe… It’s far too big.” His voice dragged on almost, words leaving his mouth, just a millisecond too slow it seemed– rough, much like the surface they sat upon, “Do you believe in God?”
Wren let a single beat of silence settle between the two of them before she was letting out an almost humorous laugh. None of what he had said was actually funny in anyway. “Until sunrise.” She repeated his words slowly, her head nodding along as she spoke. “So I’m not allowed to ask you a single thing after the sun rises then?” Her brows perked up with the question though her voice remained almost detached from the conversation. “I guess that’s where we think a bit differently then.” She offered a half shrug of her shoulders then, lips pursing together. “Never really thought anything was definite.” The word rolled off her tongue slowly and almost sounded bitter even in her own ears. “I mean, some things are, sure but.. nothing is really guaranteed, you know?” Her tongue ran over her lower lip slowly before she was offering him another shrug of her shoulders in a weak attempt at seeming as if she didn’t actually care about the topic. “Guess it depends on where you stand with everything.”
After finding herself on top of the building, Wren brought one of her feet to rest against the peak of it. The heel of her boot rest firmly against the pointed roof, knee coming up to almost press against her chest. Her hand was messing with part of the frayed edges of one of the holes in her jeans, her head nodding slowly in agreement as he answered her question. “I believe in—” Her voice trailed off for a second, eyes flicking up to look at the sky rather than him, buying herself some time to think of the right wording for her answer. She’d thought about her beliefs many times before and more often than not, her answer would change depending on the day. “something.” She finished her original thought before focusing her gaze back on him, lips pursing together. “Kind of hard to say that everything just.. happened. There has to be some kind of superior being out there. Not sure if it’s God but.. something.” Wren had always had trouble with making complete sense on topics like that but she also never really tried to. “Alright,” She began, allowing for a beat of silence to fall between the two of them. “What’s one thing you would change about yourself?”

@wrenday: why is the smell of fresh cut grass the best smell ever
“Strong opinion? Look at them, it’s self explanatory - they’re both so done it’s amusing to watch, also slightly pathetic” Laura said with a careless shrug, her eye felt they were dragging chains as she rolled them. “Oh god, I’m much smarter than that” Laura said with a scoff, taking a sip from her drink as her head rolled to the side to witness the fighting that she found some life in. She wasn’t the only one dealing with shit, and it made her smirk. The sigh that came from her lips was thicker than the shake she drank hours ago, her glance at the brunette more questioning than a helpless student reading their exam paper. “Maybe another fucked up couple will pounce along” she said sarcastically as her fingers tapped against the table, creating a rhythm as she looked around the park, a very dull park. Laura wasn’t surprised by her reaction, not most would take pride in her situation. “Look at this” Laura said passing the iPad to her - “Friends worry for Laura Ryan who has not been seen in days nor left the house of bestie Harry. She can’t keep her life together and refuses to talk about her divorce” Laura said in a mimicking tone before her eyes dragged another roll. “None of it’s true - It’s bull. And for the situation?” Laura said with a smirk, a short laugh falling from her lips, “Not all women are like me” she stated before locking the pad.
“Right, right. I see what you’re saying.” It was hard not to notice the other girls strong personality radiating from the other girl. It was the exact over the top type of attitude that Wren expected from celebrities like Laura. The same type of attitude even came from people trying to make it big. In LA, it was something you quickly would become use to. “Smarter than dealing with relationships like that? I think it kind of just happens to everyone, you know?” Wren bit down softly on her lower lip, a small forming on her lips in reaction to the other girls words, taking it each of them with a grain of salt. “Maybe that will. Could make our days even more interesting.” When the iPad was handed to her, Wren’s eyes quickly scanned over the title, a short laugh escaping her after she had read it out to her. “You’re saying you haven’t locked yourself up in a house for days? I mean, I sometimes do that for smaller reasons than just that.” She mumbled, offering a shrug of her shoulders. “Obviously not. Kudos to you for handling it well.”
