I kind of love it, tbh
Reminds me of alchemical symbols, but with a twist. But I must concur that this is badass even if itâs against me.

Potions
Let me begin by saying I love tea, but tea is not a potion, it is tea. A potion is made to either heal or hinder, a tea is a dessert or a regular beverage. Some teas can act like potions, but a potion is herbs steeped in alcohol and brewed to concentrate the healing effects. Herbal infusions are a whole other game essentially. Iâm no kitchen witch, or a witch at all, but I know a fake potion when I see one. The concentration aspect is highly important because you want the effect to take hold almost immediately, it doesnât matter if it tastes good, what matters is the desired effect occurring upon consumption.Â
Iâm not trying to say herbal infusions or teas donât have an effect, what I am saying is that they cannot be described as potions due to their nature being based around water instead of alcohol and the effect being diluted. This may be unwanted discourse, but I feel that itâs important to say as there are certain things that should not be misnamed in such a fashion and a potion is one of those.
A beginnerâs guide to entropic magick(s): energy and focal-points
As you may already know, entropy is all around us, inside us even. Itâs the basis for many modern magickal theories including chaos magick, which makes magick into a science, a muddy science, but a science nonetheless. The basis of entropic magick is recognizing the chaos around you and being a vessel for it to project your will. This sounds simple in theory, but in practice it tends to be much more difficult, prior knowledge must be applied in practice or nothing will happen, the basics wonât even involve ritual circles, thatâs intermediate to advanced and requires precision. The basics are harnessing the chaos/entropy and letting it out though a point of focus, for some it may be a wand, for others it may be a knife or simply your palm or finger. Your spiritual self must adapt to excess, uncontrolled energy entering and infusing with it before you can actually begin, or at least thatâs been my experience.
Adaptation is essential to entropic magickal study, so please take your time, rushing into things comes with disastrous consequences, thatâs how it is with most things, not just magicks. Opening yourself to excess energies can be dangerous, in most cases itâs better to take it in slowly and do the same for release, however once you get comfortable with it, entropic bursts become a powerful tool in regular practice. That all being said, please be careful, you can seriously muddle your mind when entropy is involved. This is a common experience for me. Iâve had to take breaks from practice before because I just internalized the energy and didnât use it to do anything, I was scatterbrained for quite some time, so I took a break for a half a year. Thing is, itâs easy to get rusty, itâs easy to forget how to open yourself up to outside forces. Using various forms of meditation helps I found, for practitioners of circle-based magic, use whatever you may, but look at the circleâs usage before application, specificity is integral when using chaos magic otherwise the magic will use you and not the other way around.
Summary; take everything slowly and be careful, it takes more than a strong will to âtameâ entropy.
Harnessing Abyssal Energies
While there is extreme danger in doing so, itâs extremely powerful in practice, however I will not try this because the incomprehensible nature of the void of space makes me feel incredibly existential.Â
Note: this will not give you an eldritch blast in real life, itâll probably just make you unhinged mentally
Onto the topic at hand, the abyssal energies come from space, but are often associated with the deep ocean because thatâs the most comprehensible version of the abyss to non-astronauts, to those of us scared of deep water, just think of a sensory deprivation tank and form those thoughts into neutral energies and add entropic energy to the neutral energy either through two focal points or if youâre unskilled, use a symbol to concentrate one of the energies through, the best bet would be a sealing circle, to some the symbols inside matter, but if you just want a singular symbol or just a circle thatâs up to you, but it must contain a form of either entropic or neutral energy to direct the former or latter on. The fusion is important, as is the thought process behind it, that being said, you must direct it back onto yourself so you may absorb it to be used later on, much like a battery, however, the battery recharges when you do, it is now stuck to you, a little piece of the cosmos at your disposal, use it before it grows.
