Felix Kubin is one of electronic musicâs most dynamic and versatile performers. Being a lovechild of the home recording era, his activities include futuristic pop, radio plays, electroacoustic music, and works for chamber orchestra. Kubinâs music is saturated with enthusiasm for disharmonic pop, industrial noise, and 20th-century avant-garde music. In the last 20 years, he has released a diverse array of albums and played over 80 electronic music festivals. He likes to move between high and low culture, clubs and concert halls, as his main concern is the shifting of contexts and expectations.
At the age of 12 Felix has started to compose electronic 4-track music with a synthesizer, an organ, a cheap casio keyboard and a drumcomputer. His first band was called "die egozentrischen 2".
He performed live on punk and new wave festivals when he was 14. Since then he was fascinated by experimental pop music and especially electronic sound machines.

  2 BOULES VANILLE (FR)
DEUX BOULES VANILLE is a drum duet triggering analogic synthetizers. After having built, then painted their instruments with their four hands, IIBV get busy dissolving the influences and the personnal goals of the two members into a giant mayonnaise sauce including Grindcore constructions, Techno, dub, improvisation, and creates a music that can be referred to Tony Conrad as much as the last Rihanna radio hit, from the local Crust band to Silver Apples. Simply, effectively, and without pretending any special technical abilities, IIBV write their pieces mathematically, considering accidents and chaos with the same attention as the construction of a radio hit.This results in an idiotic music, lonely, danceable, that fits as much in the pit, in a disco or at the supermarket.
Shoshana is an Israeli rock duo formed in Tel-Aviv in 2012. The group consists of songwriter Tamar Aphek (guitar, voc) and Jonathan Harpak (drums). After recording and touring excessively with bands Carusella (Aphek) and Usless ID (Harpak) they've decided to realize a musical bonding that have existed between the two for over a decade. As Carusella guitarist and vocalist Tamar Aphek played over 600 gigs in Europe and the US, performing in SXSW, CMJ, FUSION FESTIVAL and opening for bands such as The Editors, Deerhof, Kaylesa, Monotonix and Torche. Outside of her work in the band, Aphek is also considered a pioneer in Israeli music due to her initiation and production of the first Israeli outdoor annual indie festival, consisting of performance by Israeli and European bands.
Das Ding is Danny Bosten, who was active in the early 1980s releasing his music and friendsâ music via his own cassette label called Tear Apart Tapes. Powerful dark electro danceable and mellow. In 2007, 433rpm, of the exhaustive music blog âNo Longer Forgotten Musicâ, posted some of his old Das Ding tapes, and Veronica Vasicka- who runs the New York based âMinimal Waveâ label and specializes in reissues of 80s synth-wave- contacted Danny, now living in Rotterdam, to propose the release of a Das Ding album. Old tapes were uncovered, and Minimal Wave released a remastered version of âHSTAâ and other tracks, in 2010. Twenty years later Das Ding was reincarnated under its old moniker but now with a revised line-up and a working set-up that reflected inevitable technological change. Suddenly, Das Ding was a âDutch electro-pioneerâ and now Das Ding will perform at the 1,2 Piecefest.

"Jules Antoine Lissajous was a French mathematician, after whom Lissajous figures are named. Among other innovations, Lissajous invented the Lissajous apparatus, a device that creates the figures that bear his name. In it, a beam of light is bounced off a mirror attached to a vibrating tuning fork, and then reflected off a second mirror attached to a perpendicularly orientated vibrating tuning fork (usually of a different pitch, creating a specific harmonic interval), onto a wall, resulting in a Lissajous figure."
  HERING UND SEINE SIEBEN SACHEN (DE)
Hering und seine sieben Sachen is the solo project of Daniel Voigt (sicsic tapes). His slighty maddened mixture of new-new-age and post-industrial-music is currently based on tape-loops performed live on several walkmen and sounds like a worn-out thriftstore copy of an Oliver Messiaen record played at a busy city crossroad: foggy but beautiful. It's the Laich of Love!
