The AT&T rep tried one of the numbers I was asked to call by another AT&T rep:

“I’m so confused; it seemed like a bunch of telemarketers.”

When AT&T can’t find our information after giving them:

our IP address

order number

name

phone number

account number

address

circuit number

When the call drops after 40 minutes on hold.

When the AT&T rep is surprisingly helpful.

"So we're going to have to reschedule this test and turn up again..."

When I tallied up the number of hours I have spent on hold with AT&T over the last 2 months.

Discovering Lucy Phone, a service that will wait on hold for you and call you when you get through to a real person.

96 minutes on hold.

AT&T rep seems to know what they are talking about. Then they put me on hold for another 20 minutes.

"I'm sorry we didn't have someone out by 4pm. I have spoken with our load balancing manager, and we'll have a technician there by 8pm tonight."

How I feel when I finally get off the phone with AT&T.

The AT&T rep I spoke with yesterday actually called back when he said he would!

Last rep promised router would arrive today.

It did not arrive, so I called.

"There is no record of a router for you being requested..."

74 minutes on hold.

When I realized the hold music on the "Business Services" line is much nicer than the sexy sax hold music of the "Customer Support" line.

What I desperately want to yell after being placed on another "brief hold".

After 34 minutes on hold.
